Yea, it's hard to say. Indoctrination did take time, but that was just with one ship, Sovereign. There were multiple Reapers in London alone. Maybe the whole mass of em generates a stronger Indoctrination field and uh... fuck it, who knows.

I'm still a little disappointed we probably won't be seeing Ashley/Kaidan DLC at this point. They kind of got left in the dust in terms of Mass Effect 2 content. Hey, not everyone jerked off to the blue alien in the first game. I guess I'll just have to wait to see how things turn out for Shepard and Ashley in Mass Effect 3.

And I swear to God, if anyone starts that Nazi bullshit again or says, "Shepard and Ashley? Shepard was a woman! What are you going on about, Dashui?" I will fucking fight you.

Take heart: they said one of the reasons they had some people unavailable in ME2 was because they needed to ensure they would be alive in ME3.

Ashley and Kaidan were the worst characters in ME1, so that's probably why we didn't get any DLC for them.

As Jeff Gerstmann said, "She's just a, uh, fucking army brat piece of shit."

Any guesses to how this one is going to play off?

I'm thinking this game around your going to be working to convince the Citadel to stick together. With Earth being destroyed and knowing how retarded the council races are they're all going to probably disband the council and focus on defending their own homeworlds/systems thinking that any one of them can fight an invasion off or simply deny the existence of an invasion. It'll probably be up to you to get them to unite and convince them that they are stupid

I'm not gonna lie. Regardless of how it plays off. Its going to be probably one of the best in game cut scenes in gaming history to see the entire Citadel and Terminus System Races unite under one single banner come out of the Pluto Mass Effect Gate and engage the Reaper Fleet. Bioware is already aware that they're about to create one of the most if not the most memorable gaming history ending in the industry and are going to not fuck it up.

None of you are invited to my birthday party.

Kaidan was slightly boring, it didn't really feel like there was a lot to learn about him, but I don't know if that deserves a lot hate. And with Ashley, she had more character and background that you could explore than any of the others. She felt much more believable as a result, even if you disagreed with her opinions or didn't bother to try and influence her moral alignment (which you could do, along with Garrus and Kaidan). That's why I kept her alive.

Tali was just a walking encyclopedia about her people and not herself and Liara was nerd bait who fainted into your arms and acted shy. I liked both of their characters, but there still wasn't that much to either of them in the first game.

    I'm not at all surprised.

But unless they step up their game significantly, I'm not getting fooled on the "digital collector's edition" again.

Hrm...Despite my issues with ME2, I'm actually probably more likely to not wait for a steam sale for ME3 than for DA2. Though hopefully it comes out in like october, so there's actually a chance of it going on something of a sale by the end of the year
