virmire. I just spared wrex's life.

    But I didn't like it.

I used the paragon option. Would the renegade option also have spared his life? I have a save point immediately prior to the encounter that I can go back to. I'd rather have the renegade points.

    Yes.

I think you can either Intimidate ashley into not doing it or side with her without a persuasion check

there's also an option to do it yourself since you're a weirdo like that
Wrex's death at your hands is an honorable death and one that he would have wanted.

It is the only right way.
wrex shouldn't die, he goes on to slowly reunite and reform his people
No, someone else randomly does that because Wrex ate honorable buckshot. This is canon.

I think we're talking about two different things. Ashley wasn't involved.

Wrex finds out that saren cured the genophage and storms off to sulk. I go talk to him and he says "can't you see what this base means to the krogan?" and pulls a gun on me. I use the paragon option and say "these krogan are slaves!" But one of my other options was to shoot him.
ashley shoots him for you if you can't persuade him and choose not to shoot him

I started to continue playing Dragon Age yesterday, played for about 8 hours and when I started the timer was at 39 hours played.

So with 47 hours played I have now completed:
Redcliffe and gotten half-way (I think at least) through the Dalish thing.
The game takes an unbelievable amount of time to play.

Human Noble - like in real life.

But the important thing is that I've gotten roughly half way through the game and it's taken circa 47 hours. That is absurd!

Yes. Yes it does. I did nearly everything and steam claims I put in something like 120 hours. On one playthrough.

Now, bear in mind the actual number is probably closer to 80 - for a while there, every 2 hours I played resulted in about an hour of progress made. As a side-note, don't play on Nightmare.

Btw dragon age is on sale on impulse.

I generally prefer to play rpgs on the xbox because its easier for my kitty to cuddle in my lap. Is there any really compelling reason to get dao on pc instead? Mods/add-ons/etc?

    Nightmare? Lol no.

I've kept it on normal all the way through, and it's almost Homeworld 2 levels of difficult at some points. A non plot important Blood Mage in Denerim for instance - I had to actually glitch the game to win against him.

And yesterday I spent half of my healing resources on one non important Revenant. Shit be silly yo.

And why the hell are there so few healing packs in the game? I buy up every single injury kit and potion I find and I do not use them frivolously yet I always have extremely few and new ones are basically impossible to find at this point.

More like mind blowingly tough, am trying to get this armor from a side quest. So I have to take down about 3-4 more... Which I will not be able to on my healing budget. :(

I'm partying with Morrigan, Sten and Alistair and have for a time now. I sometimes fight Sten over leadership but am disappointed that I can never actually kill him. He fights well though so he might as well help me do evil towards people.

I also really dislike Alistair and don't know why I roll with him, he seems to have much more dialogue than others possibly.

yeah, you might want to just focus on the main quest and come back for the revenants later, that's what I did

if you're having trouble with health, you eventually get a second mage (you had morrigan pick up heal, right?), but that's the only other one you ever get
