Black Friday: Do I really need another 42in HDTV?

The time is almost upon us to embark on the magical tour that is Black Friday. Gather round lads for there are deals about. Mayhaps we stumble upon a PS3 bundle or a new GPS. If ye brave enough to fight the cold and darkness, bargains will be found.
To a lot of people Black Friday is a magical time when things get cheaper. Though I swore off Black Friday, some of you might still be looking for deals. To assist us in these matters, look no further than Slick Deals' Black Friday Section. It provides a great index of all the stores and deals. They really went all out this year.
And now a word on spending. I ask you to remember that we are still in a recession. Try not to empty your bank accounts just to get something to replace a perfectly good item you already have. Don't spend just to spend. Spend your money on something you really need. Try to make every dollar count.
I am thinking about getting this tv , although it is a little pricey. However it has really high reviews! And I think that it is nice enough that I would be happy with it for a long while. It would be replacing a roughly 50 pound CRT tv that I've had for 7 years.

it makes everything look like it was shot on video rather than film
super annoying
will this Black Friday be the one?
right on fuckin time
It will. If you already have a projector it will cost considerably less than $500 to build a 52' screen out of blackout cloth.
Satans..... hints.....
Turn off the 120Hz or whatever. I personally don't know why they even added that feature. It makes everything look wrong.
