As a Christmas present I want to get a custom DnD mini made for a friend of mine. Does anyone know where I could procure such an item?

Help me raise a little cash for my transition costs

They might have something, just a heads up, some of their miniatures might not be safe for work viewing.

When you say "custom" do you mean painted? Sculpted? Painted and sculpted?

Have a search for "miniature painting/sculpting commissions", there are quite a few people that offer that, mostly individuals. Prices vary by ability and reputation.

I used to do single mini paints for £10 to £20, and some limited sculpting priced individually (never from scratch, though, and not to any kind of pro standard). Anywhere from £15 - £80 for a single mini seems to be about the going rate for painting without getting silly. Sculpting is usually priced by the mm at around £10. For a 25mm complete mini (unpainted) you might get a deal and pay around £200 depending on standard.

If you want something with a lot sculpting you may have left it quite late to be organising this, though. Anyone who does this stuff for a living will generally have a waiting list.
