I just spent the afternoon listening to this CD and I'm pretty sure I am angry at how good it is. It's a sorta concept album about a the dystopian California in the year 2019, and it sounds completely different (and awesome) from there other stuff.

Plus the videos feature Grant Fucking Morrison and some guys from Mindless Self Indulgence.

    i might check it out. i've never been a big fan of MCR. something about gerard way's face makes me want to punch it as hard as i can until i'm grinding wet chunks of skull into the floor.

    Nerd time. This is their 4th album, Black Parade was their third, the one you're referencing was their second.

    Their first album was called "I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love"

    I know this because when I was a junior in hs, they opened a show with Story of the Year, Thrice (the band I went to see), and The Used was the headliner, but the fire marshall shut the show down prior to The Used going on.

    I liked their set at the time, it did the opposite of growing on me when I had the album though.

    Never listened to stuff like this.

    I only ever listen to metal on my own time and on the radio I keep away from channels that play anything past the early nineties, like the classic rock station because it's the only thing that my family can agree on in the car.

    Still never heard a single song by this band.

    Or Lady Gaga for that matter.

    The music is good, but I'm not suspending disbelief when they're firing the guns I used at the arcade a decade ago. Then again, I'm not sure exactly what they were trying to do there.
