Insight from fruitdealer, which I can definitely see as true
although he lost his first game he realized his opponent wasn't as scary as he thought and gained confidence. I guess the fact that he last that long after such a brutal marine attack lead him to believe he could handily take the next two games
yeah, I can see that.

I love the players who respond with their own thanks in English rather than just a nod and a smile.
Its such a small thing but it makes me so happy.
I don't know why.

Ret looks like he could be a debt collector. The crazy big guy kind.
I love the story a family friend tells about the debt collectors he set on some guy who was screwing him over Bulgaria.
He owns a bunch of property and paid this guy 10,000 dollars to fix up a house for him, and the work kept getting put off, and eventually he tried to get his money back. A lot of dodging phone calls he gets sick of it because he needs to return to Australia.
So he goes to these two massive brothers, as wide as door. They go over to the guy's house, and they talk to him about giving the money back, and they paid the debt off for him giving the money to the guy who is owed it. So now he owes them the money, he asks if they should sign a contract or something. This is apparently greeted with the response "No it's okay we don't need a contract, we know what you look like".
That is the kind of guy Ret reminds me of. Not when he talks though, then he isn't like that at all.

Holland is technically just a region of the Netherlands; but the names are basically interchangable.
Wait seriously? I never actually knew that.
Don't tell my fiancee that, she's from Flemish Belgium and would kill me.

I guess "dutchie fighting" doesn't prevent you from being so
RE: Holland/Netherlands: I only know this as a childhood friend's father was from there.
