I've watched jinro and idra, won't spoil anything but some amazing tvz... although
moon kinda sucked I thought
Like they said he is still playing in some Warcraft 3 tournies so I'm sure he will get at least a bit better when he is entirely devoted. I wonder if FOX is going to have him keep going on Warcraft 3 for a while more or push him over to try get a bit more of a foothold in SC2.
Anybody feel like almost every map has some disadvantage for the zerg? Jungle basin 3rd is super hard to hold and zerg needs it. LT cliff drops are a huge pain in the ass. Steppes and delta have very short rush distances. I don't think any maps straight up favor zerg. Maybe caverns? But that's only because it lacks cliffs at natural and has a fair rush distance. It's not so much an advantage as it is a fair map. Same with metal (unless it's close positions). Not being able to veto maps in GSL3 is making zerg drop like flies.
Or maybe zerg just needs to evolve their gameplay. But how? Zerg can't one base. They pretty much always need to be 1 base ahead of the enemy.
Scrap absolutely favors Zerg. PvZ is damn near impossible on that map.
yup. i've won pvzs on scrap before but usually only by 4gating if I let them get to mutas, I essentially can't expand a third time and eventually get whittled down

This logic gets zerg players killed because they think they need to have one base to be economically ahead, when really all they need is the production off of that base.
Zerg keep up fine economically 1:1, it's their production that they need to worry about.

I don't see how, Protoss are the race best equipped to make rush distance irrelephant with warpgates
i think its mainly due to a lack of mobility plus weak AA. The problem I have is that if I want to dominate the air, I'll have to go early-ish stargate but that probably means I wont be able to hold of a early roach push. If I forgo the stargate and try to defend against mutas with stalkers, my army is split up and susceptible to a heavy ground attack. If I use cannons to defend my mineral line, that'll be around 1k minerals over two bases not spent on units I'd need to hold back roaches.
i think scrap works so well in zerg's favor and against toss's weaknesses because of zerg's ability to comfortably swap out units due to the large travel distance and the rigidity of toss's tech tree. that's why i've had the most luck with 4gating since 4gates take them out before they can really take advantage of the map. It's just really easy for zerg to comfortably expand without pressure on that map against toss.
Is anyone else getting nauseated any time ppl do the double rax scv-not-all-in? Getting sick of seeing that... I hate that they get rewarded for it. Its exciting when boxer does it in bw, and fun when fauxer does it ONCE, but now I just shudder when they do it. Just seems so lame.

I just received a "<3" from iN.Control regarding my videos.
I got the event added to the TL calendar, and I got the following message
"kinda borderline, but I'll add since you got good casters."
Hahaha
"Well, this is a charity event and you guys are trying to help sick children....but we normally only accept tournaments with cash money prizes....ah well you got Geoff on board,so that's cool!"

So does this mean in the future, the event should be a grudge match for cash money prize, but the winner will "willingly" donate the money to a charity? Seems a bit silly for that, but if that's what it takes to get the workaround. I mean, didn't they do the 48 hour marathon for Child's play donation awhile back on one of those channels (GLHF?)?

I had no idea this game exists and it's a pretty rad concept. It's like this very odd mix of RTS and turn based strategy that is a total mind fuck.
silver league style

meta is good for zerg 2/3 of the time
scrap is good but can be played well by terran... it's got advantage for both I'd say
I wish people would have done this for the BoxeR game fuck.

Not to look any gift horses in the mouth, but we can't even get a link on the front page of THIS SITE. Not yet at least.

lol, its like pretentious and almost insulting sounding, yet helpful. Describes TL in general actually.
Though I can sorta understand the borderline comment, given this isn't an event taking place in a physical location or something. I guess.
I don't understand, not-all-in?
I'm not sure exactly what you're talking about
