Just curious, does the Brutus armor have any special attributes? Because the full set of Seusenhofer armor you can get from the Blacksmith is basically as good or better that it going by the stats listed on each piece.
It never needs to be repaired.
It also has +10 to Ugly As Fuck.
That's why I have two loadouts:
Assassin Master Set:
- Seusenhofer armor, dyed black and red
- Auditore cape
- Altair's sword
- Marias knife/dagger (soon to be replaced by La Volpe's bite, that is if that's a dagger)
Legionary/Brutus/Badass Set:
- Armor of Brutus
- Plain cape
- Bartolomeos Axe/ Shop quest sword (The one for which you need Vlad the Impaler's coins)
- Dagger of Brutus
Though you can always equip Brutus' armor and just activate any of the bonus outfits. Just don't use the
Raiden outfit/costume
because it's quite a few times uglier then Brutus' armor.
Better get your facebook profile linked to the Assassin's Creed game. They have a bunch of Uplay points available from it as well as a number of unlocks for AC2B. I got 2 capes from the deal already.
I loved the game but laughed like hell at the ending. Also the last two fights were so anti-climactic after I figured out you could just keep throwing the bosses and booting them on the ground.
Is it just me or does the incognito bar drain a lot faster since the patch? I even have Silent Hunt and it drains in a fraction of a second of high-profile.

Oh yeah, that dude needs some throat stabbing, huh? Eh, he's not going anywhere.
the final fight in AC:2 was kinda funny, there was a point in time where I was just wailing on that mother fucker and he was fumbling around

Haven't played since the patch, but if it stops people running around like asshats as much then I'm all for it.
And is there any actual way to catch up to someone fast-walking without breaking incognito?

Knowing the map and guessing where they'll be going has paid off for me more times than not. And slowly trying to creep up on them just means that your pursuers can hunt you down while you're busy staring at the back of your target.

I don't know why a kill being too obvious or bad doesn't just result in a loss of points, even if it's just a minor loss. So instead of giving somebody 100 points per kill for being an asshat and sprinting everywhere all the time, give them -10 for not using a whole list of possible options to kill somebody better. Then not only will it discourage people from just rabbiting everywhere, it will also provide some satisfaction when you lose a kill because a guy sprints across a courtyard at you like a jackass and blows an awesome sneak attack for a lousy 100 points which doesn't win him anything anyway. Or if you're going to give sprinters points at all, give them something like 2 points per mega-obvious kill.
Another option would be an ongoing reduction in points for each non-sneaky kill. So the first is 100 points, then the next one is 80, then 60, etc. But once they get a proper sneaky kill, the reduction resets. That way people will still be able to go for last-second quick kills to try and come out on top but the sprinters will eventually be left with earning a trivial amount of points.

This would literally make griefing as easy as pressing R1. Oh, I'm spending the whole game running, now my pursuer has to run to catch up with me, but if he does, he loses points. Haha, I am a twelve year old shithead and I am ruining the game for everyone!

But if you run constantly, your target sees you anyway and you don't get any points. I never have problem with griefing in the form of people running away from me, just idiots sprinting from target to target who cost me points and never win themselves. And if somebody is doing that, you can just get the chase thing going and not chase them. Chase timer runs down, you get another target, and they get a pittance of points. Eventually they end up at the bottom of the leaderboard and nobody is hunting them.
Besides, running a good deal is just basic good strategy. If you're reasonably certain your hunter isn't between you and your target, it doesn't make any sense to calmly walk a block and half when a brief sprint puts you in position a lot faster, helps protect you from an attacker, and lets you get a new target that much sooner.
What is it you get by the way, for "doing the mission the way Ezio did" or whatever that "perfect synch" is called?
100% all the missions in a sequence and you unlock cheats. You can't use them for new missions, but if you replay a memory, you can activate them in the menu.
These are the ones I know about:
Sequence 1 - Ride the Unicorn - All horses become Unicorns, and Ezio's weapons glow. So magical...
Sequence 2 - Buns of Steel - Ezio is invulnerable
Sequence 3 - Killing Spree - Every attack is an execution.
Sequence 4 - Sisterhood - All Assassin recruits are female.
Sequence 5 - Ultimate Guild - All recruits are level 10.
Sequence 6 - Unlimited Assassin Signals - ...I don't think this needs an explanation.
Sequence 7 - ??? (I haven't gotten this one yet. Anyone?)
Sequence 8 - Desmond Everywhere - Haven't tried this, but I'm guessing it makes Desmond appear. Everywhere.
Not sure if there's one for Sequence 9.
I think this only checks the 'story' missions, so there's no penalty for not getting 100% on the side-missions (thief/lair/Leonardo missions), although I could be wrong.
EDIT: Beaten. I forgot about the Christina missions. I think the last one of those only needs a 75% total sync, so there's no reward for 100% on everything.

There's no penalty for not 100% synch the side missions. You get nothing for it. You only need 75% for christina. Anything else unlockable is through a different mechanic.
Only story missions unlock cheats.
If you think you need to 100% side missions to unlock something, stop now, save your sanity, go back to enjoying the game.

It goes without saying, of course, that I don't have any sanity and am looking forward to figuring out how to do that tank mission.
And by looking forward I mean "anticipating future pain".

I got 100% on the tank mission on my third attempt, I think. But I probably got lucky at the end, since one of the tanks got stuck on some debris. Still, I think the main tip is just to never stop moving, 'cause that's the only way you're absolutely sure to get hit.

I thought collecting every flag gives you a cape which makes you permanently notorious.
I know that buying everything you can gets the cape which makes you permanently incognito.
I had that. I've also fallen behind a staircase in Rome, which sent me "behind" everything with no way back.
Guess what, everything under Rome is water!. (a reload reset my position)
