The Story
Following the Geblar raid on Nortune, the gears have begun to turn on Anonelbe.
After encountering Fei atop Nortune, Elly returned to Etrenank and requested permission to leave the Geblar special forces and become a citizen. After her request was denied, instead of returning to duty, she went to her father, Erich, in an attempt to get his help leaving the city, but was quickly found out. She was incarcerated, and Erich court-martialed. Fearing the worst, her mother Medena recruited the help of Erich’s old friend from Geblar, Citan Uzuki, to use his contacts to get her family to the surface.
Following their own escapades in Nortune, Fei and Citan had travelled to Nisan, hoping to hear word from Bart and his pirate-crew. But after Citan informed Fei of Elly's actions, the two left Nisan in an attempt to find her, before Ramsus and the Geblar forces did.
Unknown to their friends, the sand-pirate crew survived the attack on the Yggdrasil, but many were wounded, and they had scattered all over Aveh, and are attempting to meet up to reinitiate their plans to take Aveh.
Furious with his defeat outside Bledavik, Ramsus decided to restart his hunt for the mysterious red gear, intent on finishing their dispute once and for all.
Hearing of Elly’s descent to the surface, and Fei’s escape from Nortune, the Gazel Ministry have started to take the threat a little more seriously, and have kicked their plans into overdrive.

If you haven't played Xenogears in the 15 years it's been out, and you still plan to, you will have a lot of the game spoiled for you.
Voting Cycle:
7PM PST 10PM EST is when rounds close. Even if I don't post saying the vote closed, any votes with the 10:00:00PM or later timestamp will not be counted. If this time is too early for a lot of the West-Coasters, I have no problem pushing it an hour later, but in those events it is more likely I will have to wait until the morning after to post results/narration
Vote in bolded red. If you can, try to make the vote near the beginning of your post, just so I don't accidentally miss it and get egg all over my face.
Actions should be in my inbox by 9:59:59PM. For group faction abilities, I would like for you to have a proboard with an orders thread. Anyone else can do that as well, if they wish.
I hope to have narrations up as soon as I can following the close, but I don't like to be up much after 11 most days, so in some cases, I might just throw up results, and get a narration done for the morning.
Roles and Players:
There are 54 spots at the moment. That number is variable based on signups. Can go to just under 50, or a little over 60.
Roles will be private, as will their abilities.
No sharing role PMs (ie copy paste or screenshots). You can tell people who you are, but you will have to use your charming personality and wit to convince them.
There are no vanilla-villagers in this game. Everyone will have a role. That doesn't mean everyone has powers, however.
Here is the basic villager goal, though.
Alignment: village
Your goal: kill Grahf, id, and the Gazel Ministry. Kill or prevent Deus from awakening.
If you get a PM with different (however slight), whatever goals/alignment are on that PM supercede the above.
Many of you will have secondary win conditions. They may be secondary, but the game will not end until a faction has completed both. They are largely listed as secondary just for my own organizational purposes.
Just a couple of notes: this game has actually gone through a couple of iterations in my brain and on my computer, so its possible there are some artifacts of old versions in some of the PMs or rules or whatever. If you think you see a contradiction, absolutely ask me about it, because it's entirely possible I forgot to edit something out.
And finally - it is not a complicated game, but there are a lot of powers flying around, just something to take into consideration.

-Order of Operations is Vote > everything simultaneously. There is one special action that can occur at any time, otherwise all abilities will trigger simultaneously immediately after the vote.
-Narration will be explicit (ie: character's attack was Guarded by character. If something is unclear, I don't imagine I will refuse any reasonable requests on narration clarifications.
