Fun, but not cost effective. Throwing one midget is hardly worthwhile, but if you shell out the money to throw multiples you negate your savings on sexy boots (or whatever), the very reason for celebration!

I think we can all agree on confetti, yes?

Confetti is almost as bad a glitter when it comes to cleaning. Midgets are 100% recyclable, you can pick them up and put straight back in their cages for next time.
I bet someone here is either A) a midget or B) related to a midget. Either way I'm a politically incorrect monster and unlikely to change into a generic barcoded human being that only says things that 51% or more of the population agree with.

Fuck man I've had like 2 months of nothing but dicking around and now I have freelance work from the Ohio River Foundation and my friend's dad, I have to redesign my portfolio for potential co-ops, and classes start up on monday so I'm gonna have more fucking projects.

Time to get my shit together.

So, I just bought a DS to stave off boredom. Are there any DS owners out there that can think of a game that I just HAVE TO PLAY?

I got the new advanced wars, those were always fun, the new zelda (spirit tracks), got final fantasy 4 (again) for my rpg craving, and scribblenauts for all around fun... Anything I'm missing?

edit: lyrium that painting is epic. <3

My friends and I have been playing a mod called Brawl Minus, and one of the additions is that King Dedede's hammer pound makes everyone on the stage trip if they're touching the ground.

    He is my favorite

    His reviews are so funny!!

I tried to get a friend of mine who loves star wars to watch the red letter media review of The phantom menace, but he quit 15 minutes in because he didn't agree that Qiu gon-jin and obi-wan were bland characters.

And after we talked about it for awhile, he got so upset that I didnt see things his way that he didnt talk to me for like a week =/

I think I saw the the first episode of the first season of that (I think it was this, unless I'm misremembering), and while the animation was cool, it did suffer from front-loading it with Way Too Much Exposition. Maybe it got better after that, but it really annoys me when sci-fi/fantasy shows/games/movies/books want me to choke down a glossary of terms before they get to the business of doing anything interesting.

Also, growing up with 80's and 90's action cartoons, it's hard not to be suspicious when they go out of their way to make their intro very very slick and high budget. I'm looking at you, Thundercats.

The show gets way better after the first episode, believe me. Occasionally it has a bunch of exposition, but it's generally a really good show. And the animation stays really good throughout the whole first season, too.

I like it a fine balance when it comes to exposition in a show. When they don't have enough, it's sometimes hard to take anything seriously or appreciate the weight of what's going on during the show. When it's too much it'll make you doze over in boredom.

Unfortunately, most times it's full throttle on one or the other, and that's a real shame at times, cause a lot of shows could benefit from more of one or the other.
