A server change won't make it better. If you think you're going to find a server that isn't overflowing with douchebags then you're in for a harsh lesson.
Some servers are miles better than others.

Hate: holding my tongue when a FROST mage tells me, as an assassination rogue that I need to do more DPS after a boss wipe in heroic HoO because I politely informed them they needed to kill the seeds on the ground. I would have LOVED to tell him to enjoy the future nerfs as he's currently playing an OP class compared to my spectacularly underperforming class, and to enjoy his continued wipes since he obviously doesn't have the versatility to deal with anything more difficult than tank n' spank.
The part I hated was holding my tongue because server resets were in 30 minutes and I knew if I said anything the group of 4 guildies I got stuck with would have booted me.
Happy: Apparently they used their kicks on other people and can't get rid of me. Guess they won't be getting their random dungeon completion tonight.

Hate: Heroic Deadmines. I hate that place with such a passion. I got it for my daily yesterday and they were on ripsnarl. We had a couple of wipes, but finally got it done. Then we wiped on cookie a few times then wiped on Vancleef another couple of times. A mage and warlock were a the other dps, but I swear I was the only killing adds.
Happy: At least I got cookie's mace out of the deal. As an enchance shaman the stats are not ideal, but the slower than normal speed(2.8) is suppossed to make up for that I hear. It's funny beating things with a rolling pin.
Happy: Guild groups. Actually get shit done, and we can kick the PvP geared tards that we have to pug with. "Do you know this fight?" "..." "Are you there?" "...." "Son of a bitch." "No abla ingles!" Kick Reason: "No habla stupid."

Hate: Leveling JC past 500.
Holy Hell: The last seven points in LW.
Holy Hell: At least people are willing to pay obscene amounts for the crafted pvp gear. Too bad I might have to sink that money right back into 518 to 525.
Happy: Have the mats and orbs for both crafted epics as soon as I do though.
Hate: That there's no communication on the official profession forum.
Happy: At least Alchemy was easy to level.
Hate: There's exactly one Alchemy trinket, and it's pretty worthless for anyone that's a non-tank.
Happy: I'm also an enchanter...

This one is fucking stupid and just means nobody will ever bother to defend Tol Barad anymore.
My druid's an Herb/Alch, which is great for being the OP herb gathering machine. He's been an alchemist since Molten Core was cutting edge (even still has the Major Rejuv in his skillbook). Bonuses on flasks/pots are nice too.
My shaman's bringing up Leatherworking, which is great so I can make leg armors for my druid's feral gear. My shaman is resto/ele. One of the LW perks is that you can spend 2 dragonscales to skip making leg armor kits for your own pants. This is useless to my shaman, but would be great for my bear (with a soon-to-be-cat offspec). If I could just swap their professions, it'd be dandy, but MEH. Powering LWing would be a royal, incredible pain. I'd also feel weird with herb/LW and skinning/alch. Blargh.

Not necessarily. Everyone I know who actually uses Honor Points in PvP caps out in no time flat just doing normal queued BGs. I haven't run into anyone who actually uses Tol Barad for it.

Hate: Bugged dialogue for quests. Man, a questline I was really into and apparently the big reveal that happens after you kill a mob doesn't happen. And I can't find anywhere that has it listed.
Hate: LFD system putting together imbalanced groups. Thanks for the 4 Melee (Ret, Fury, Rogue) group you put together for my Heroic Stonecore run LFD! Two people instantly died to crystal shards on the first boss. funnnnnn
HateRage: Epic 359 BoE tanking cloak drops during a Halls Of Origination run and it gets ninja'd by a Hunter.
Fuck that noise.
If you actually planned on using that rather than selling it for $stupid you are, as they say, doin it rong, as the Hyjal cloak is straight-up better and you're guaranteed to get it.

It's better then what my DK has now and she's not exalted with Hyjal yet.
And she's a Jewelcrafter so money isn't going to be a worry.
Now in a debate at the start of Cataclysm I took my warlock to Hyjal my rogue to Vashj'ir
I ran into a lot of caster gear and stuff I could not use on my rogue there so I decided to press the random dungeon button and it said I did not have a high enough level for it
Well the gear I was offered was NOT for my class!
Happy - Finally got the mats together for the Elementium Stormshield.
Hurgh- Tried to get someone in trade to craft it. Everyone wanted 1k + to cover the "cost of the the orb"
hah well - I will just have a guildie craft it for free.
Huh? - Baby War is in outlands now. Queue as tank, 10 minutes later no group and not even one person added to my group queue. This is going to be painful.

It's a good thing I have two account and when I rebuild my computer my brother and I can semi do 5 man instances by ourselves
Which brings me to a question for it to count as a guild run how many people does it have to be? 3?
Happy: Fuck you, I'm a dragon. Vial of the Sands is mine!
Helpful information: it takes 4 to be a guild run of a 5 man, 8 for a ten man, I don't know for a 25 man, and 10 for old world 40 mans.

Before following any advice, opinions, or thoughts I may have expressed in the above post, be warned: I found Keven Costners "Waterworld" to be a very entertaining film.
Hate: leveling JC is a dick in the butt compared to other professions.
Apparently my g/f is pretty much maxed out and has all but one recipe in enchanting just because we ran so many randoms she had all the shit to buy it.
Meanwhile I have 3 epic gem cuts and stuck at 500 unless I want to farm my face off for the last 25 points through rare gems. I wish I could turn in those fireprism things for a pattern, and there wasn't a cooldown on it.

Hate: It seems that all tanks refuse to do pugs now, since guild leveling is important.
As a tank, I can tell you that it's because PuGs are awful. Whether it's a healer not being efficient or a DPS in PvP gear or straight outta regs in 329 avg greens and some blues, it's just getting to be too much.
Blizzard is sending more and more tanks and healers away from RDF all the time.
I've nearly completely given up on PuGs. If we wipe on the first trash (can't believe this happens, but it does), or more than a few times on an early (or easier) boss, I leave.
I have so little patience now for Heroic PuGs. Almost none.

It's 80% of the group. 20 people outta 25 must be guildies.
Its not quite that bad, as someone who ran heroics a day after release and again today on my pala as a tank straight out of reqs in an all alt group heroics are still super managable if you just cc properly. I have had some truly awful healers though, ugh.

Or are you refering to Chimera Eye cuts?

Rare gems stop giving skillups at 515, at which point fire prism and metas are the only thing that give them as far as I know. At 522 metas are green, and fire prism is still red.
I've stopped trying to reach it though, as 525 is completely pointless now that you can prospect pyrite earlier, and the 525 patterns are useless.

You make it sound like them charging for the orb is a bad thing....why wouldn't they charge for it? And expecting a guildy to give you 1k gold for free seems goosey, maybe if you ran a guild heroic specifically to get them the orb or something...
Happy: Read The Shattering Novel. Obviously not the pinnacle of literature, but I enjoyed the read. (book spoilers below, I think.)
It looks like they're setting up Baine to be a Horde Emissary for Jaina while Thall does his thing. I do want to roll a tauren to see him with the "tiny" dwarven hammer Anduin gave him in TB.
Having the Twilight Hammer start of the Ashenvale conflict between the Night Elves and Orcs was pretty clever of the cult. Not sure if the new questlines uncover this.
Hate: Realizing Cataclysm would have been a time and place for Cairne to shine given all the Earthen Ring.
Happy: Finished out two more rares, both Night Elf (the wisp amulet and soul mirror).
Hate: That I was able to complete out the wisp amulet without a Highborne Scroll because I couldn't get Tol'vir sites to spawn.
How many hours (approximately) do you think it took you to go all the way to 525?
Honestly I couldn't tell you since I did it in chunks. Several hours definitely, and they had made changes to make it "easier" while I was in the middle of it.
I tried to invite you to my group but it gave me a player not found error.
This just reminded me of...
Hate: OK you can put someone on ignore and never be grouped with them again in the dungeon finder, but how about the reverse? We ended up pugging a mage the other day for Grim Batol that was a freakin' rock star. (we actually ended up running a few more with the guy so he didn't have to suffer through more 45 min queues) WTB some way to upvote that guy and get him in future pugs, or have a way to invite people cross server to a 5 man.

About the Shattering:
Too bad it's all undone when Jaina's troops were involved in the sacking of Camp T and were assaulting the gate to Mulgore
Aren't there some dissenters in Theramore that are basically like "Jaina's too friendly with the Horde, we should get rid of her"? I only passed by there for a little bit on the PTR while dicking around with an ally premade but I remember NPCs saying something like that.

It's 20 for a 25-man. We found out last night doing the Flame Leviathan weekly for sweet, sweet Justice Points.
He died in 40 seconds. Due to the vehicles scaling with gear, I had as much health as the boss.
