Make Her Pay is probably the most well put-together of all the flashes. With it Andrew seemed more concerned with making stuff fit with the music and the overall presentation than he did with revealing as much as possible. It's really well done, and even though not as "holy shit" as Jade: Enter, I like it as a flash considerably more.

Make Her Pay is probably my top flash
the music is awesome, the animation fits excellently
Enter is pretty indisputably the best flash to get someone into Homestuck. It's catchy, it shows off the 'meat' of the story regarding it being a game, but at various stages (pre medium, sprites, imp strife, gates), it features all four kids, it's early enough to not be totally spoilery, but far enough in that it makes people curious about the context (did he just knock out a goblin with a Bill Cosby shaped laptop?).
Hey so I was rewatching the latest Strife!! and I was wondering where they are when Dave is watching the Jade/Imp action reflecting in his sunglasses? At first I thought it was the temple where we saw him asleep, but he's not wearing his suit any more, and it's snowing which seems uncharacteristic of LOHAG.
Maybe it's a future version of Dave? Shit, can the imps travel through time as well as space?
it's a time-traveled future dave on LOFAF.
we don't know for certain, but as of yet neither Bec nor Scratch has given any indication that they can time-travel.
Thinking about this, would it even be possible for a game piece to do any time traveling that did not directly complete a stable time loop? And for that matter, other than Lord Englishes henchmen I don't think we've ever seen anyone but the players demonstrate time travel powers.
look if it were set ti a flash i would probably like it a lot more
but as it is it's just an unwanted interruption in my homestuck listening experience (which i can easily resolve by removing it from my ipod but i am LAZY)
heck i'd probalby like the song without the screeching meows
I still say WV: Ascend is the best way to entice a newcomer
Nah, way way to spoilery and schizophrenic in tone
I always go with Dave: Abscond or Make Her Pay
why Make Her Pay
that's also super spoilery
and the trolls aren't the best intro to homestuck anyway
it's an incredibly clear flash that is simple to understand
and also spoils the shit out of several major plot threads in the troll arc
the dave/bro fights are acceptable, though
well ascend is worse than that, is my point, in addition to being confusing as hell to the layman

I can't imagine someone who doesn't know homestuck figuring any of Make Her Pay out
sure, it's clear if you know who the trolls are/their powers, what dreamselves are, etc.
but to most people it'd be very confusing

WV Ascend is the best, are you nuts
it makes no sense out of context, shows starting elements and entices you, and is easily understood within a decent time limit
it's the flash that made me think "ok, this will be good. maybe not as good as problem sleuth, but good." I was then proven wrong; it became better.
showing a later flash is nuts
The first two times I played it, I managed to get to the part where awake-Dave appears and the view slowly switches to his sunglasses right as Sunslammer finished its bridge and went into that sweet modified chorus (between 2:09 and 2:10, if you want the exact moment).
It seemed like such a perfect timing that I wondered if Hussie was doing some trickery behind the scenes to sort of...even out the delays between clicks or something. So I tried it a third time going through as fast as possible. I got to the Dave section in the middle of the bridge.
So I guess my subconscious is just awesome enough to give me the best experience possible.

beach volleyball
oh to dream of happier times
when homestuck was carefree
the music is awesome, the animation fits excellently
but Sburban Jungle being one of my favorite pieces of music ever really helps it
crwth, this is why you and I have never kissed; because you always make bad choices.
==> is another favorite of mine
Make 'er a member of the midnight crwwwwth
Also, I think Happy Cat Song is the best iteration of the Chorale. Pony Chorale is a close second, though.
I can't listen to Hardchorale.
