You're lucky. I lost everything in my level 80's bank, several alts with a few hundred gold between them and all my main's cash save 500g. They told me that my account was fine and that there wasn't anything to restore.
I got lucky, I stopped playing for a week or two and one day got an email from blizzard saying I got hacked, they had already taken care of it, restored my characters, reset my password, and told me to get an authenticator.
Yeah, I just got the one for the Iphone, free and easy.

It's like a little game inside itself, to see if I get an easy authenticator code
Also I now have swift flight and am working on my netherwing rep.
Outlands is so much cooler than I remember it.

i don't really want to get a phone one because i would be even more reluctant to take my expensive phone anywhere, which is already enough of a problem as it is
