A kutchie is a cooking pot, yes...but that's not what they were talking about. The Mighty Diamonds admitted that.

So I liked Vash'jir a lot. They succeeded in making an "underwater zone" fun, I think. My favorite quest there was probably "Put It On," which you should just go rather than have me explain it. Granted, it's pretty late in the zone.

I too enjoy Vashj'ir. As a survivor of Dark Age's ToA era, I was pleasantly surprised to find an underwater zone that wasn't horrible in every way.

I'll be that guy and ask what it means, since I can count on one hand how many times people have picked out the meaning of 'Bobbeorn' (admittedly, the Bob is tacked on in front, it's a theme I run with) in about 5 years of the druid's existence.

It's an old reggae tune by the Mighty Diamonds called "Pass the Kutchie", and the chorus has the line "pass the kutchie from the left hand side". I assume you can figure out what they mean by "kutchie" (hint: it's weed).

Later some kid-reggae group did a version called "pass the dutchie". It caused some controversy because it was a bunch of kids singing a song about smoking your problems away in a Kingston slum.

I assume everyone just asks you how it feels when you've got no food?
Didn't know about the original version, but I'm more familiar with the Musical Youth Version you mention

As for worgen names, I am 1 of 7 "Wolframalpha"s who are actually Worgen according to the Armory.

So I have rolled a goblin dk, mostly so I can get a glimpse of the new zones the quickest. (my highest toon on cho'gall is 23) Would it be quickest to bloodspec and serial tank instances OR frost spec and dps through quest content? The internet seems to be in two minds about it.

But you guys are smarter than the Internet...... Right?

Dual spec, level with quests and when you are level appropriate run the dungeon for that level and take the quests for it and run it once.

Then go back to leveling with quests.

I'll agree with Aphostile here. Dungeon leveling has been nerfed somewhat, but it's worth it at least once for quests.

I know when I ran Throne of Tides last night, I had no quests for it. I'm *assuming* that if you get far enough in Vashj'ir questing, you eventually unlock it... but that's where I think Mount Hyjal does things a bit better, with a starter pointing to BRC fairly early in the zone.

Sure sounds like the majority of worgen players people are encountering are under 13.

Either that, or it's a bunch of late teens trying to be edgy and ironic and failing miserably. Are goblins as awesome as they should be? How Jewish do they act, on a scale from 1 to Hanukkah? This is a dealbreaker.

I had forgotten how cheap dualspec is now. Also, with the new dungeon quest system, I shouldn't have to worry about collecting essential quests around Azeroth, right?

I don't see goblins as particularly Jewish at all. I interpreted their voice as more of a general take on an exaggerated "New York" accent than as a Jewish accent. I don't think their quests, etc., reflect them acting in a "Jewish" way (what would this even be?)

Think about that for a second and realize no, Blizzard did not make the goblins act Jewish.

Okay, I was able to download most of the game in another place, but right as I was going to leave after checking that it worked, it had added like 5 gigs on to the download, but it downloaded a little bit and it was still available to play in the available stage like it was before, so I went home since it was getting late, and I'd gotten picked up.

Now that I got home, I started up the installer... and now it's on the set up faze, and since I cannot download any WoW stuff at the college campus, I can't play it now. Does anyone know what's up? Was there a new patch recently or something?

Man, Worgen rogues and hunters get ripped off in the quest that rewards a blue. Casters get a nice robe, Warriors get a kick ass sword, pretty sure druids get a nice pair of caster pants, and everyone else gets.. A crappy dagger with 4 stamina.

Really...? Really? I'm not calling Blizzard a bunch of anit-Semites here, but the Goblins in several places play right in to the "greedy Jew from New York" stereotype pretty well.

Ugh, I'm having trouble recovering my battle.net. Apparently my email/name is wrong, despite me having gotten emails from Blizzard, addressing me by the right first name, on that email account. Am I missing anything obvious, or it there another way to recover it?

Oh, and can I transfer my characters to a new battle.net I made for SC2?

Yes, because Blizzard is not famous for bringing in topical and pop culture references and humor in to their games.

Really, what's the big deal anyway? Even if they did base Goblins on the New York/New Jersey stereotype, why is everyone so touchy about it?
