I have made it home safe! Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to all of you in person! My bus/flight left early. But this was made up for by Blake seeing me off in his underpants.
The flight was fine, but it turns out that your camera can electrocute you! I'm just going to buy a new one. And then I will retrieve the photos (hopefully they are still there fuck fuck fuck I bet they've been wiped)
AusPAX is over... It was really cool haning out with all you guys!
Thanks to Viv and Pipe for organizing, and to tek and Fishman for cleaning and to fishman again for running an awesome D&D campaign and to everyone who cooked or cleaned or drove or took photos or what have you. Basically thanks to everyone for being really the best people!

The land of Seplus is a land in conflict. Almost a decade of war, both with its neighbours and the torched bridge successions, a land that has kept its identity and cohesion even as their neighbours have changed, and split, and shifted away. But the war is not all-encompassing; it is confined mostly to the borders, and there are both well-regarded neighbours and small islands of peace within the borders.
The small town of Bironby is one of these islands of peace. Remote and distant from the core lands, Bironby is a border town, a place of exile and trade nestled in the gap in the fork of the Entropy mountains.
Many are the reasons that people come here; some are heading towards the wars, seeking fame and glory; others are fleeing the wanton destruction. Some are local, eking out a living as a miner, farmer or trapper, while others are simply passing through, travelling along either the forest road or the towards the coast by the mountain pass.
The crossroads meet in the centre of town, at a town square known as the Linksville green. All the towns major buildings front onto the green; the town hall, the Temple of Coin and the Temple of Light, the general store and the smith; and most importantly, the Happenstance and Ribaldry, the towns only inn and watering hall.
Many travellers and locals come to this inn, many pass through without issue. But tonight, as the stars rise and the fires of the town light the sky, something not seen in years will trouble the peaceful town of Bironby and the inhabitants of its only inn.
On a side note, if anyone happens to have accidentally picked up a pair of wiimotes somewhere along the line please let me know! It'd really be appreciated!

Yeah I just picked up a USB reader. I opened the card up, and the files were there, some of them had thumbnails, but not all; and NONE of them could be opened. It just said it was invalid or something.
Then I just reopened it and it's decided they're all gone.
So maybe some of that deleted file recovery software would do the trick but maybe not!

Firstly, do not use the SD card for storing any more data

I was in charge of final cleanup and it felt like I was herding cats.

I'm open to suggestions on how to recover the photos from my SD card
Alternatively the USB readers are like ten bucks.

Go here http://www.cgsecurity.org/wiki/PhotoRec and give that a whirl. I've had great success with it in the past.
Goodluck.
Ah it would be a shame if I can't get them but not the end of the world.
