Knight & Squire #3 is perfect.

Richard III is brought back to life, and he's evil, so Shakespeare was right. He then brings back to life all the other kings and english nobles from the past, and stages a coup. Knight & Squire try to stop him but he's winning the PR battle by having more Twitter followers AND is a spokesman for Red Bull , time for the big guns:

bks3a.jpg

bks3b.jpg

And then Knight wins because he was actually knighted by the Queen in a private ceremony so he wins back power for the Queen, after Richard III is caught on camera rhyming his way to saying he hates the commoners.

Thor: Mighty Avenger #7 ends on a cliffhanger, and it looks like next issue will end the series on a really cut off ending that makes the cancellation hurt even more:

A robot is rampaging in town, but everyone blames Thor:

tma7a.jpg

And Superboy #2:
Ivy teams up with Superboy, then backstabs him, using him to get a secret plant device. Superboy's friend arrives to save the day:

if you liked the Kesel/Grummett run from the '90s, it's starting to have a similar vibe going for it, primarily because of a strong supporting cast with Krypto and Simon. If the 4th issue is about Superboy the Animated Series it will be just as good.

And Fables #100 was a really good read, and we seem to now be onto Act III of the series:
Tottenkinder (now going by Bellflower) defeats Mr. Dark, but he breaks free after a bit, and "kills" her. The Fables now retreat to Flycatcher's kingdom, while Bigby stays in our world to find a new place to live.

And Beauty gave birth to her kid, a girl, who is like Bigby's kids in that she can transform from normal to a 4 armed beast.

Totenkinder isn't dead though, she just made it look like she died. She tells Ozma that she's done, she's marrying the guy who originally boxed Mr. Dark away and is done with our world.

You get a lot of story for 10 bucks, and some good reader questions and Buckingham's prose story isn't that bad.

I didn't get the book but judging from scans I've seen New Avengers 7 looked fantastic.

Red Robin #18, Tim's become quite the ladies man, although Red Star seems to know a lot more about Tim than other younger heroes:

A girl Tim named Promise was trying to kill a Russian billionaire, Tim tries to find out why and catches her showering in an abandoned factory:

    rr18a.jpg

Really enjoy To's artwork, especially his facial expressions.

Batgirl #16, Steph and Babs crushing on the same guy:

    bg16a.jpg

And Batgirl's grapple gun makes a "Poot" sound effect, hyuck hyuck.

And the DCU Holiday Special was bad, but this was a nice ending to one of the stories:

Superman honors a kid who saved his family from a burning house, but in doing so got burned all over his body:

    dcuholiday2010a.jpg

    suck on that, JMS.

DC still has some bad stories out there, like Superman and Generation Lost, but a lot of the middle tier books have really gotten a kick up in quality.

    Spider-man had some awesome bits.

    The D-man gag was funny.

    Lots of good moments throughout.

    Wong was wicked.

    A+

    D-Man just makes me sad.

And Superboy doesn't have much emotional range in terms of facial expressions. He just looks confused or, at worst, mildly annoyed by Poison Ivy.

His head is too big and his facilal features are too small, it just looks odd. Oh and after seeing the scans I'm going to have to preemptively give it to . . .
    1291863931319.jpg

I'm picking my books up tomorrow, but this seems like a good chance for the character to get the cred she's always deserved.

I honestly didn't hate it! I thought it added to her ridiculously bad ass mythos thingy. What with kicking Thanos and Dooms asses it kinda seems par for the course she'd have had a thing with best there is at what he does. Plus I envisioned it as a kinda one-night-stand-while-on-some-crazy-bad-ass-team-up thing.

    Probably just me.

I was able to. Art was pretty good and it was a decent read. The issue isn't with me at the moment but yes, that is what I remember from the issue. I would consider getting a second opinion as I realize my post doesn't convey a sense of confidence.

At this point i'm thinking the list of female superhero's that Wolverine hasn't slept with is smaller then the list of ones he had.
