    I took a swing at the Eldar. The shading isn't perfect, but I think I got the shape of the thing pretty good. One Shadow-class cruiser, with an Imperial Dauntless for scale.

    Sweet!

    Don't worry about the shading, I can tweak that a bit if you don't mind. The shape is just something I didn't want to tackle. That looks pretty damn good.

    Rank: Eyeballing my actual forgeworld squiggoth up against a space marine, as I don't have any orks handy, it looks like 5.5 marines wide, a full 12 marines long. Maybe try and use that as a reference.

    Glad you liked it, I'll wait until you've touched up the shading to start in on the rest of the fleet.

    I've never actually seen an Eldar ship in person, so this could take a while. Are they really that small?

    If you could correct any inconsistencies or things that need fixing for accuracy, I'd appreciate it.

    They're generally smaller than an Imperial ship, yeah. I may have made it a bit smaller than reality; it's been several years since I saw a real one. I think it's about right, though.

    Hell this would be a cool way to play 40k with an airborne Imperial Guard army with full Vulture and Valkyrie support and a Titan Legion as backup. :twisted:

    By the way the Baneblade continues its construction but... it is taking some time...

    Someone needs to make Valkyrie and Vulture sprites.

    As an Eldar player, I took the previous Eldar sprite and tried something different. I used the Ulthwé and Biel-Tan color schemes. The second Biel-Tan has a bigger back thing ala the models. The second Ulthwé just has a white strip that I use to show ranks in my Guardian groups, since Ulthwé are Guardian kings.

    Ok, I feel like a bit of a dick.

    After I go on and on about how I don't want to work on the Eldar fleet, and Mongrel makes a fine Shadow class cruiser, I go and mod the hell out of it.

    I got a bit of an itch to sprite after reading this thread so here are some Resident Evil: Apocalypse themed sprites. (Don't know if anyone will ever RPG with em, but it couldn't hurt to have em.)

    The far left is a basic soldier type with a p90. The next one is helmeted, using a p90 and and a glock, then the next two are black haired and blonde haired special task force soldiers, each with p90, glock and m4a1.

    They look a little small to me actually, but I think they keep with the general scale...

    I've never done sprites before, but I decided to try a couple Eldar Scorpions.
    The poses are more dynamic than the sprites shown so far, but these guys just don't look right standing at attention. They are quite large as a result, but I could cut that down if its a problem.

    t Rank - Hopefully the measuring system is interchangeable. I'm not sure how it would work, but I'd imagine you'd define measurement rules at the start of the game.

    For example, you open the program and it asks you a couple questions, maybe one about the map, one about terrain placement, one about dice, and one about measurements. That's what I'm imagining at least..

    Rank, re: Distances - I have no idea. I think it's being coded in inches at the moment, but don't quote me on that.

    Also, that XML looks good. I can't say if it'd work or not because A) I don't know BFG and B) I don't really know XML, but just eyeballing it I'd say you have the gist of it right.

    Tim: Baneblade :^: I might work on the end of the main cannon's barrel a bit, solid black looks a bit weird. Same with the black spots on the turrets, though I don't know what those are. I'm also not suer I'm in love with the.. barrels?.. on the back of it. But all in all, :^:

    All of those are only temporary and there for placement before detail is finalized. Right now I'm just bogged down with rivets and hull details... lots and lots of hull details...

    Also as far as I can tell there's always super crazy huge barrels on the back of Baneblades.

    What are the two new Rhino variants? Predator and one other I don't recognize due to the fact I'm not a marine player. Razorback? They look pretty good.

    Also, I think I have to give the predator sponsons, right?

    Edit: Shit, man. I'm only just realizing how much you've added. Those new sprites in the top left are awesome, as is the sword termie!

    Which tanks/weapon options still need doing? Only one coming to mind right now is a Land Raider Crusader.
