fashionable clothing online

k, so i've become a little obsessed with fashion and i've been looking for sweet clothing stores online, mainly tshirts, hoodies and accesories like belts and stuff
i guess my style is like a mix of punk, indie, nerdy, hippity hop, skater, graffiti culture, graphic design love, etc

i'm not so much into shirts involving words, and i love good designs and varities of color

so far i know of the following stores online that are awesome and a bunch more, but this will give an idea of what i like

threadless
seibei tshirts
to die for clothing
www.bombingscience.com (graffiti store)
www.ccs.com (skater stuff)
hot topic (but not so much so)

umm thats all that comes off the top of my head
but i check out preshrunk the tshirt blog and a few others looking for cool shirts occasionally..

does anyone have any hidden gems of cool stores that sell stuff in the kind of style i'm looking for?
i would be very grateful <3:D

I keep getting emails from http://www.urbanoutfitters.com/ for some reason. They seem to have a big tshirt section.

fcuk's shirts are pretty cool, but definitely high priced. $38? for a few words on a black shirt?? (lucky fcuk, i'd fcuk me, etc) I know that's not all they do, and I do like the place and all. You could also try their outlet, I believe there is one down in Orlando, though that's only what I heard from a friend who said she'd pick me up a few shirts (still hasn't, grrrr)

If you think FCUK t-shirts are expensive, you don't have a clue what good clothes cost. The last time I hit the stores on Champ Elysee the cheapest tees were ninety Euros.

Sorry, my money isn't burning a hole THAT big in my wallet, I know how much some clothes can get (Swarvoski Bape t-shirt will fetch almost a grand on ebay, seriously, wtf)

For karmaloop, it doesn't matter if it's been used before, as long as it's YOUR first purchase using that code. Every other time with that code, it's just 10%, so just find another code online (it's easy, check slickdeals.net, hypebeast.com's forums, ppl have the code in their sigs all the time)

I've bought easily a dozen threadless shirts over the past four years, and I've never had a problem.

agreed, i've done around the same - first threadless shirt i got was green with what looked like a .357 magnum and a line attached to the bullet... ages ago

threadless shirts aren't like american apparel in terms of softness and awesomeness (although if i remember correctly they did use AA for some shirts a while ago)

    anyways, meh to aero

Umm...What exactly is the reasoning behind that? I checked Ebay and Swarovski Bape stuff is all in the hundreds. I Googled it and wiki'd it but found little.

Here it depends on the location, but the most expensive outlets in Colorado are Cherry Creek Mall and pretty much anything in Aspen (the T's in Aspen start at $75.)

Perhaps I could be enlightened fashion wise, as generally I wear Abercrombie jeans and a black Banana Republic tee. If I'm feeling particularly stylish I'll wear a high quality ($80-$150) long sleeve shirt over that. This thread could go places as reading through it I realize I know very little. Post on...

Bape is all based on hype basically, there is no t-shirt in the world worth $90 in quality, there just isn't. Bape gets away with the high prices because Nigo (founder of Bape aka. A Bathing Ape) limits his clothing, there is NO OFFICIAL STORE ONLINE, period. He has a handful of stores all across the world, with people camping outside to wait for new drops. In America I believe there's only 2 BWS (Busy Work Shop) stores, one in NY, and one just recently opened in LA. Nigo also sponsors his own rap band in Japan, called the Terriayki Boys, who wear nothing but Bape. The list of celebrities who wear Bape goes on and on, from Jay-Z, Kanye West, Pharrell Williams, etc.

Sounds easy right? Make a few shirts, charge a ton, wait for your fans to spread the word right? Well, you also have to make clothes ppl want to wear. Nigo is an excellent copycat, making allover hoodies, copying Nike's shoes and making them in exotic colorways, to having Nike copy Nigo's colorways.

tl;dr Nigo is a marketing genius, make a brand where it's hard to buy the clothes, then charge up the ass to be able to wear it.

I got into the "Urban" scene when I was in Taiwan, and I bought a Fape (fake Bape) and ever since then, I've never worn it. I have never bought Bape or BBC (Billionaire Boys Club, Nigo joined up with Pharrell Williams to create this line, as Pharrell was really into Bape) I have bought some other "Urban" clothing though, just pieces I really like. Compared to some of the people on hypebeast.com, I haven't even touched the surface. I will warn you though, 3/4 of the posts on there are the same posts rehashed over and over again: "that shit is HAWT" "that is so copped" "you think this looks good on me??!??!" etc

Good clothes? If you pay 90 Euros for a t-shirt, I don't give a fuck who makes it, you're a fucking moron and you're getting ripped off. The best quality t-shirts cost less than a dollar to manufacture. It's fucking cotton with shit silkscreened onto it, usually some stupid, shitty logo. It's not a fucking fashion masterpiece. Only a douchebag with more money than brains would spend $40 on a t-shirt, no less 90 Euros or more.

$40 a lot for a t shirt? That's what, 15 quid? I'm honestly not sure I own anything that was less than £25.

It's just how much looking decent costs, I suppose. Quite frankly ther compliments make it worth it.

As said hypebeast and highsnobiety are good sites to keep up to date with most of the core streetwear labels, although many are truly horrid such as 10deep, mighty healthy, the hundreds, crooks & castles and so on. It's good for keeping on eye from some of the better and more creative ones such as Bounty Hunter, Julius, Nom de Guerre and the excellent W+H/Wings & Horns/Spruce lines though.

I've been wanting this shirt for a while, and they have it for $12.99 but they only have XL in stock and I wear a small

I can't find it anywhere else. 80stees.com had it, but they only had XL, too, and it's sold out anyway

    fuck.

Does anyone know where I can get it? For not $30?

Uh, yeah. $40 is fucking ridiculous for a t-shirt. You can have your own shirts custom made for less than that.

Actually it's 20.3 pounds, but 25 pounds ($49) for a t-shirt is absurd. You do realize those t-shirts you're wearing only cost about a half a pound to make regardless of who makes them and where you buy them from? For someone to throw away money on cheap pieces of fabric like that indicates to me they're either retarded or an utter douchebag.
