Why is this movie in 3D?
I just showed a friend of mine the trailer and he responded with "If I didnt already know about it I would have zero idea this was based off of a comic book."
This movie could be great but it could also be really awful.
I feel this way about pretty much every comic movie coming out
I want to punch everyone who says stuff like "this could be good but it could also be bad"

You can put together a really well worked trailer such as this and then the movie turns out to be god awful, with the best bits appearing in the trailer. A film such as this can easily be let down by stuff like dialogue which action trailers tend to leave out.

Maybe, but saying "this could be great or awful" is true of literally every movie, book, or sex session ever.
Until you experience it, anything could either be great or awful. Or even just okay!
It's a case of not being "won over" by the trailer but still wanting to see it because of the source material. You know that's good but will it transfer into this movie? First trailer says: maybe. It's different for an original film because you don't have that source material to keep you interested in a film after watching a so-so trailer. If you're not sure you want to see a film and the trailer is pants, chances are you won't see it.
