Rock Revolution headset port

I ordered the Xbox 360 Rock Revolution Drum kit, online. The Drum Kit Assembly Instruction Sheet has a caption, "Headphone Plug. Xbox ONLY. Adaptor Included." pointing to the Drum. (The arrow points to what appears to be a mini-headphone jack.) It also has a picture of a cable with a stereo jack, but I'm not sure what this is supposed to be.

Does the Rock Revolution Drum kit have a separate cable that plugs into the socket, to work as an adaptor for the proprietary Xbox 360 headset? Or is "adaptor" supposed to refer to the stereo jack itelf, and you are just supposed to plug an industry standard headset of some sort into it? I am saying this because I ordered the Drum kit online, but the box was badly torn as a result of having been poorly packaged, and there were a few very big holes. I looked for the adaptor cable, but could not find it. I am not sure if the cable fell out, or if the kit simply never had such a cable to begin with. I tried looking at the official Rock Revolution site, but Konami took it down.
