it is really weird to me that so many people in this thread are shitting on jennifer hale
usually mike meer's the one no one likes
he was not very good in the first game either (burning molten LAAAAH VA)
but he got better in the second one, while she somehow got worse
i felt this was especially noticeable with the renegade lines in ME2, meer gave really good readings for those ones while hale just sounded bored, or stoned, or maybe both.
Every other Shepard, male or female, pales in comparison to his rugged yet handsome countenance.

I think some of my favourite Mark Meer lines are the ones where he's just irritated. When you meet Mordin and he asks you to sort out the plague, and Shepard's all "Just once I'd like to ask someone a favour and have them say 'Sure, no problem, let's go!'" and he sounds so cranky. Cracks me up every time.

Cranky or mean Meer is the best. He absolutely nails that drawl that he pulls out for some of the comments, though some of the heroic and courageous lines he makes are fantastic as well.

I dunno, I found character creation in DA a lot harder and with consistently uglier results. That may just be because you have way more control over the tiniest things in DA and I am rubbish at doing it. But I did think the noses on offer were pretty much horrendous.

well, other than TYRONE SHEPARD
with a few exceptions
like there were a few lines while scanning Hock's room for DNA in the Kasumi DLC where she actually speaks like a human being
and I was shocked
"you're working too hard" and "how about GOODBYE" are awesome when meer does them, kind of shitty when hale does them
