More importantly, Lions noooooo lose for Patrick Peterson!
But win because that streak was embarrassing.

They have the tiebreaker, having lost to the Bengals. So they'd have to beat Pittsburgh or Atlanta in addition to the Cardinals.

I am half debating going to pick up some tickets to the Vikings-Giants game tomorrow. I doubt I will actually do it, but I mean, how often do you get the chance for FREE FOOTBALL!!!!

I'd rather sit inside and watch it on T.V. and not freezing my ass off outside in seats where I can't see a damn thing. That's just me, though.
Wouldnt it have made more sense to play a game in Min, where thered actually be fans, then detroit? I get wanting to have a dome...but it seems to me that fans would make it more home-field then the dome.
Especially playing at a division rival. Its mroe like the giants home field then the vikings. I mean, imagine if they said "screw it, were playing in green bay." Everyone there would be rooting for the giants! Its just...an odd choice. Isnt there a college near by they can borrow?

They couldn't play in Minn, what with the dome collapsing onto the field. The stadium may be done until they can completely repair it.
The only other place that was even remotely viable needed at least a week to be ready for an NFL game, and even then, it didn't have the amount of seating that the League apparently expects the stadiums to have, so they may nix that, anyway.

Was that UMN's stadium? 'Cause I think they should've played that game there.
I don't think we're going to see the Colts in the playoffs this year. Between the Jags and the Titans (should I worry about Oakland?) I think the Colts will lose at least one of those two. They barely got out of Tennessee with a W on Thursday, and Jax is a better team. MJD is going to pound the snot out of our line and LBs.

The Vikings might play at TCF next week, but for now the stadium's been "winterized". I don't know what that means, but given that it's Minnesota I assume it involves hockey.
The other problem is that the Vikings are a dome team and TCF is outdoors. The 12/20 game is against the Bears, who are used to playing in cold weather. So football-wise it would be better for the Vikings to play the Bears in Detroit, to keep their dome-field advantage. Detroit has no love for anything Chicago, so the Vikings won't be as disfavored in that game as they will vs the Giants tonight.

I'm sorry Jason Garrett despite the media hype I'm seeing only an average coach out of you so far.
The Patriots will clinch the AFC East title and a first-round bye under the following scenarios:
1. In Week 15, the Patriots beat the Packers, and the Jets lose to the Steelers.
Or…
2. In Weeks 15-17, the total number of Patriots wins and Jets losses equals at least two (New England's magic number).
The Patriots cannot clinch home-field advantage throughout the AFC playoffs in Week 15, but they can accomplish that eventually under the following scenarios:
1. In Week 15, the Patriots beat the Packers, and the Jets beat the Steelers, and then in Weeks 16 and 17, the total number of Patriots victories and Jets losses equals at least one.
Or…
2. In Week 15, the Patriots beat the Packers, and the Steelers beat the Jets, and then in Weeks 16 and 17, the total number of Patriots victories and Steelers losses equals at least one.
In other words, the division magic number is 2 with the Jets and the HFA magic number is 3 with the Steelers. A win over the Packers would mean they couldn't be the 3 or 4 seed, two wins means they get a bye, three wins and then have HFA
So the ideal here is that the Pats beat the Packers, the Jets beat the Steelers and then the Jets lose to the Bears while the Pats beat up on Buffalo. Then Week 17 is worthless to the Pats and Steelers.
I don't really care who makes the playoffs as long as the Pats get HFA. There's no team, coming into Gilette, that scare me in the AFC. The only teams that concern me are the few that rush the ball well (Jets, Chiefs, Jags and Ravens).

For obvious reasons the Ravens are the most worrying

Some packers fans would probably cheer for vikings. Vikings winning the next two weeks would be great for packers playoff chances.

It's our battle red getup.
It is only effective against Jacksonville.
I can't believe there are that many people at the game tonight in Houston. Which is precisely the reason Kubiak will be here next year, we accept mediocrity just because it's our mediocrity.

Yeah, well, that's not going well either. We're getting our groin chewed off by the Luck Honey Badger.

Reposting from the old thread because i didnt know it was dead
but..
After going 11-2 in my league, in the first round of playoffs Aaron Rodgers, Adrien Peterson, Dwayne Bowe and Brandon Loyd scored me a combined 5 points...why do the fantasy gods hate me?
I still have Arian Foster doesnt look like he is going to put up much of a game either, this is seriously the most disapointing fantasy week.

Fuck me running.
AP gets under 3 points. Three. That definitely killed a good part of my chances.
But then Baltimore had sixty chances to kill this game - a 4th and 5 to stop, a 3-and-2 to ice - bone it, and my opponent merrily runs me down from 23 points back because Shaub put on a goddamn cape in the second half and is stabbing me with knives. Two 90+ yard drives with TD passes to finish. Gaaaaaaaaaah.
Third year out of the last four I'm bounced in the opening playoff round.

Okay, wait - a bomb to Mason to open OT and I might get it back.
Fantasy aside, this has been a crazy, great game. Fans are delirious right now.

Could the Panthers lose out on the worst record to the Bengals?
I'm not entirely sure they haven't been losing intentionally the past few weeks.

No but he should be. The whole thing is imploding on the Jets too. Turns out being a braggart means you have to keep winning to not lose the team
The Dolphins beating the Jets made the the Patriots road much simpler too In other words, the division magic number is 2 with the Jets and the HFA magic number is 3 with the Steelers. It's very likely the Pats win out so I wouldn't worry about that.
There's also a slight chance the Jets lose out which would open up a slot for someone else...and we don't want that.
For obvious reasons the Ravens are the most worrying

At least blow the two timeouts just to give the Ravens D more time to rest up jesus they really need a breather.
