    Science Report: Alien weapon systems

    So, Director. Been a while since you left your office. Or let anyone in.

    Only a couple days. It seemed a reasonable course of action, given, well, everything going on out there.

    Haven't noticed. Well, a few technicians insisted on transferring to WotanAnubis's project, but I assumed that was just cowardice. All the previous tests had been non-lethal, but small minded fools... You just can't get good help.

    Non lethal? That's new.

    Well, if half the staff wasn't forming a cargo cult for Dr. WotanAnubis or mumbling about 'screams of the damned' every few minutes, I would have done something productive. And to be fair, this should solve some current problems.

    Instant cyronic suspension? Impressive.

    Better, it should cause utter misery for our new enemy. One clean shot, and its internal organs should be all but inoperable, leaving it ready for pick-up. So much for superior minds.

    I'll make sure this sees use. And, for what it's worth, it's good to talk to someone who doesn't mutter about "the sleeper" half the time.

    To all personnel heading into the field with these new weapons: the first soldier to think of, and use, a truly original cold-based pun after successfully neutralising a target, will receive 1 bottle of my private stock of 30 year old scotch whiskey.

    Those of you who try and cheat the system by attempting to find my private stock shall be met with severe punishment by my automated systems, which may include partial to full vapourisation, if one is lucky.

    There's snow way I'm going to win the whiskey, on account of being a reserve sub pilot. Guess I'll just have to hail the eventual winner. Hopefully we'll get a freeze-frame of the exact moment the pun is uttered.

    I'm pretty far down the reserves list. I'd reckon my chances of seeing any real action any time soon and being able to give the cold-based puns competition a shot are somewhere around

    I decided to send it to Chiasaur11, for possible use in the next update that has the thermal shok launcher in it. the pun is something of a doozy, if I might say so.
