    Minor Second doesn't like weddings.

    Or so I've been told.

It's day 1. Who told you anything?

    Umm... no one.

Talking to yourself, the first sign you are going crazy. Are you going to look for your lover?

I slept with him once. But it was magical! But he didn't call me back. Oh, Bil... Bal...Bel...

    Belch, you mean?

    That can't be right...

can't say I didn't expect this to happen. In fact, this is exactly what I expected to happen.

mafia always go for the easy vote on day 1.

and villagers are mindless zombies on day 1 through game end.

Excuse me, Gentlemen, but this damsel's ring finger is getting cold - someone should do something about this. I have my wedding all planned already, suitable for any male heights 5'5-6'2

    I'm not a bad guy. I'm fine.

    But you have two personalities.

    Doesn't everyone?

No. Those people are called sane people.

    .... But I'm not evil.

    AkimboLegs thinks you are.

But he could be evil. He's a damsel! He's a she!

I....I don't know what to say...

On the very day of our wedding too...

You'll pay for this 'The Anonymous'...You'll all pay

Also, since this is shakespeare, an aside:
He hath not seen me as my silver eyes crawl upon his back, glimpsing his grand orchestration of this tie..this equality...but of more engorged standing, this multiplication of concealed daggers from the common rabble...

My fondest heart desires that which befits his crime, that the very justice he hath coerced be turned against him. The Anonymous, must be dealt with and hastily-...Hush...
Someone approaches...I must make good my departure.

Uh, its not actually a post restriction, its just having a little fun with Shakespeare.

Secondly i'm a terrible choice of vote target.

Also, since my crappy attempt at Elizabethan prose is apparently unintelligible I'll explain my reasons:

T_A seemed to actually want to tie the vote. Tying the vote is bad for the village 95% of the time, and certainly was here.

Is this brilliant reasoning? No...Its average at best, but it is better than a random vote (when its on me).

I feel like this comes up every fucking game.

Ties are almost always bad for the village (early in the game) because it gives the mafia more control over the vote. They left it tied because it's an extra kill for them. Had one of them been mafia, if its tied, its that much easier for the mafia to move it off one of their own.

This isn't even getting into the issue of the extra village death.

How often do day 1 votes hit mafia? The answer is pretty rarely, because its at best a random stab. Essentially you're just wasting an extra villager and the vote records mean shit all too.

Later in the game, when hitting mafia with the vote is much easier, I could see the argument for tied votes being useful in certain situations, but day 1? Nope...

I would argue this but in this game were it seems to be no vig or specials, ties might be our only advantage.

    Now you are making sense.

And at least we know we can do ties. So all in all, it's not horrible. But it sucks it hit two villagers.

Still doesn't prove Anonymous is not mafia.

    Doesn't prove he is either.

We could think in circles all day like this.

Not that I know of. I was at an end-of-the-semester shindig yesterday evening, or I would've changed my vote. I kind of wanted to see Dunadan get married so that we could find out what would happen. That's why I chose not to vote for him when I did...and I voted randomly before the Minor Second wagon started :P .
