Does anyone know how long it takes mail to get to China from the eastern United States?

Since it'd have to go on a plane, probably the usual time (around a week), but it'd maybe be sent through their customs process and then you're at the mercy of the speed of China's mail system.

If you're mailing it via USPS, they'd have it on a plane within 2 business days.

It usually took me 2 weeks to get something from my home to the other person's mail when I shipped to Japan.

My experience was that packages would usually arrive within 2 weeks, and letters would arrive within a month. I had very bad luck with things mailed to me in China though. I only received about a quarter of what was mailed to me. Lame, I know.

Standard mail between East Asia and North America usually takes about two weeks, but I've run into problems with China. It once took over two months for a postcard from a friend in China to arrive in Taiwan. I don't know if they were examining it for "unharmonious content" or what...
