    It's almost certainly a joke, but still, it turned up as a line in The Christmas Invasion, or the first episode where Tennant takes over, he has the big sword fight with an alien and gets his hand cut off.

    Can't seem to find a clip of it, though.

    People on youtube have no taste when selecting clips.

    So at midnight the BBC released 3 out of context spoilery images from 'The Impossible Astronaut' - They're just stills, no explanation, but two of them especially are pretty HUGELY spoilery.

    Eh

    So after all the hype, I was expecting the best series opener ever.

    It wasn't that. :/

    I have no doubt the second part will be fantastic, as some of the stuff brought up is pretty incredible;
    The Doctor's death, Amy shooting the astronaut, the Lodger TARDIS being under America.

    But as with all 2 parters, the first was all setup and no payoff, imo.

    The Eleventh Hour is a great episode because it did what needed to be done, make those sad about Tennant's departure warm to Matt Smith and it did that, very well.

    This epsiode was completely different because it had to do something completely different
    The fucking universe ended in the last series, you can't exactly turn up in the next episode sitting right eating custard and fish fingers.

    Ok so- episode spoilers and theory stuff
    Is the future Doctor without a Tardis? That would explain the opening stuff not exactly fitting in just yet. He is just sitting waiting out until Rory, Amy, and River can get to him. It might also explain who the bearded Doctor in the teaser is. Future Doctor in 1969 versus 2011.

    And holy hell the Silents are scary.
