Going to take my Xbox to work tomorrow, hook it up to the internet and download all the Mass Effect DLC I've missed out on.
I'm sitting on I dunno like 8,000 points on my account that's just been sitting there since May when my gold account ran out.
Getting all the ME2 DLC, fo' shizzle.

I think he meant the data sidequest in Overlord actually.
And honestly I've enjoyed this one more than Shadow Broker so far. The boss fights in Shadow Broker were great but I'm really digging the hammerhead stuff.
So from what I can tell, the Xbox page lists three missions and a bunch of weapon and texture packs. I don't really care about the weapons and textures, so I'm down to the missions.
Lair of the Shadow Broker
Overlord
Kasumi - Stolen Memory
None of these are free with the Cerebus Network, are they? If not, which are the must-haves? I've only got 2,600 points or so (darn) and all three of these are almost 2,000. So perhaps I'll just grab one or maybe two for now.
shadow broker is the best of them all, but it is best if you do that one after completing the main story, so kasumi is your best bet for now if you plan to do a new playthrough
Aight, I guess I'll go for Kasumi and go pick her up after I finish rescuing Mordin.
How about Overlord? Is that something best left for after I complete my second playthrough?
Overlord is best done before you get Legion, otherwise their entire project seems extra offensive and retarded and there's no way to even try to justify it as being anything but heinously evil
Honestly apart from Jack and Liara I think that the female characters are all great, some of the best in the series, even the ones outside your squad (apart from the consort)

You mean for the keepers? It gets you money and XP :P
A really irritating one at that.

And trashing that satellite disk was hilarious

hmm
i only played through once without any dlc
i should
play more
And she's got probably the best ability in the game (Shadow Strike)
One might say the best.
Kasumi has a fair bit of in-mission dialogue and commentary, equal to any other character, I'd say
however because she's internet nerd fan-bait I find her kinda obnoxious
that said
her shadow strike and flashbang powers are really ace especially on high difficulty settings, so
How about Overlord? Is that something best left for after I complete my second playthrough?
most of her dialogue is composed of pop culture references and internet gags
she does nelson muntz's "HA-HA" laugh for christ's sake
not to mention the fact that she's almost literally a ninja
she's got "trying too hard" written all over her

So Kasumi/Overlord - midgame
Lair of the Shadow Broker - postgame
I guess I know which ones I'm buying first.
Still fits pretty well
Anyway Pony stop being a douche, Kasumi's fine and she's great from a gameplay perspective and her loyalty mission is fantastic.
Anyway Kasumi is one of my very favorite squad members.

End of story
Love me some bait.
Well not really, because there are very well done female characters in the form of Samara, Jack and Miranda.
But Kasumi seems like she has been designed as "Nerdy space ninja" which is exactly what nerd bait is.
And besides what makes her awesome was her personality and lines.
"Well it could be worse. There could be rats in here."
What spring does with the cherry trees.
If Kasumi, Tali and Liara are "nerd bait" then I guess I'll bite.
At least they're fun.
And before you say "she's great in LotSB" I don't like her in that either, mostly just because after the first game I can't take her seriously at all.
But Kasumi isn't, and neither is any other female character in the series.

Twitter (mean leftist discourse)
You are right, and I shouldn't use it to describe Liara, though it does seem fitting.
Really I just find her immensely irritating for a variety of reasons. Her simpering mostly.
but she is practically a totally different person in ME2 and LotSB
well I know Pony has talked about how much he hates Samara before.
also Jack is awful
Miranda rules though so lets agree there
And yeah Mirandass is best
I am high on dat ass
