so these guys think there's some hidden alignment between OK Computer and In Rainbows if you play one track from each before the other starting with the first track on OK Computer.
sounds nutty as hell but i'm giving the first couple songs a shot right now

Tried this last night and although the songs do compliment each other nicely it's not some sort of seamless flow. I'm sure you could mash up two albums from any artist and get the same results.
Seriously I like Radiohead a lot and all but come on.
well it was the first time in a while that almost every publication hailed a major album as one of the greatest ever- and back then the media didn't discuss as many albums as it does today. It was also shocking in that it came from a band that up till then was only kinda-good, with one half decent album and one crap single during a time when U2 and Oasis were considered relevant bands.

yeah it's just little fragments of drums and atmospherics that sound a little similar. In Rainbows in general has elements of all the previous albums in it...
I don't see how anyone could picture Radiohead sitting around writing songs around the first and last 10 seconds of an old album.
also i love radiohead and they were one of my first favorite bands but sometimes other radiohead fans seem nutty in a way that makes me kind of nervous for them
