I dunno, I liked tribes but section 8 was just.... Meh. Maybe because it took so long to kill dudes? I don't remember, it was some time since I played it.
I was a pro with the plasma gun. I think that was the one. It was unwieldy as hell but I got to the point thta I could snipe with the damned thing. Hit targets several hundred meters away in mid air.

If you're not sure about Warband, try the demo. It's practically the whole game, the only limitations I could see were no multiplayer and limited custom battles.

I thought warhead was an expansion pack, not a separate game. The maximum pack has 'em both for $10. As someone who's played 'em, would you say it's worth it?
