I really dig the art style of the Hyperspace War era. Republic looks very Ancient Rome-ish, and the Sith, specifically Naga Sadow, have a distinctive Egyptian vibe to them. Very cool.

They have 6 holonet things left to release, so if they release one a week and then factor in a week or two before release then we're looking at spring. If they release one a month, we're looking at September.

I have rolled on an RP server in every game I've ever played.
But...but now I'm scared. :shock:
I've honestly gone back and forth on whether or not we should roll on a RP server like PA guilds frequently do. To some degree, this is the kind of game that would make me want to RP, but to some degree, this is also a game that will attract some RP folk that I'd rather not interact with ever.
Generally speaking, PAers roll on RP servers not because we're RPers, but because there is an assumption that people on RP servers are less dickbags than people on normal servers. It's more of a thing where you can if you want, but most people don't.
For most games, yeah. Really, the more a server actually RPs, the less I want to be on it though. I like to talk about football or TV or whatever in general chat. I can see where you'd be worried about too much RP in a Star Wars game, given Galaxies' reputation. But I really doubt it will be a problem, haven't seen that happen in modern MMOs.
What we really need is some way to make a few age-gated servers. All ages, 18+, 25+, and so on.

They are very well done, the story is actually interesting too, which is revolutionary for an MMO.
