@Geebs I'm still learning heroics (h5 for healing!) so I've been making sure to drag at least one other guildie (usually mongoose :P) during each of my attempts.
I saw MC'd Javen do the smoke bomb and literally went "pffft, smoke bomb".

So my account got hacked yesterday... I scanned my system and didn't find any viruses or spyware, so I have no idea how they got in.
Is it normal for them to just rip everything off one character and leave everything else untouched? Granted, Vhargas is really the only character I have on any server that is actually worth a damn, but they probably could have eeked out another 1k gold or so if they had looted everything.
Anyway, I submitted my ticket and they said they were experiencing a "high volume" of issues at the moment. This morning, I checked again and the message had changed to something about not being able to determine how long it would take to respond.

I don't use Curse, I pretty much only use Chrome as a browser. The only WoW-related site that I typically visit is Wowhead, and even that's rare now that quests are so spelled-out for you.
I run Avast actively, I don't have anti-spyware constantly running, but I ran a check with malwarebytes once I realized that my account had been compromised and it didn't find anything...
And no, I've never played WoW on another PC, except for my old rig that I haven't used in about 18 months now.
its typically through flash ad exploits. its possible you were compromised on your old machine and the hackers finally got around to your account if your password hasn't changed in the meantime.
I'm always a fan of a complete reformat if a computer may have been infected with a trojan/keylogger.
For Firefox, Adblock/NoScript are both incredibly useful plugins to help secure your browser, there are probably some similar addons for of Chrome.
The Blizzard authenticator will make your account pretty much unhackable, and is sold either as a pretty cheap key-chain dongle or for free as an IPhone/Android app (and you get a core hound pet).
And of course, change your password, but only after you fixed whatever compromised your account in the first place. If you change your password and you have a keylogger on your computer, they will just wait until your stuff is restored and jack it again.
Edit: you should also probably change the password of the email account associated with your wow account.
I wonder if main gauche proccing combat potency will make mastery a little less of a shitball stat for combat. It'd be nice if I could just worry about keeping appropriate weapons for separate specs instead of entirely different pieces of gear

That's what worries me, I ran a virus and malware scan on my machine after it happened, and found nothing. I changed my passwords to the email and to my battlenet account, and my authenticator is now in the mail.
I just really don't want to have to reformat... I have a LOT of shit to reinstall/copy over.
Granted, even stuff can hide in safe mode, but there's a lot less interference in safe mode than a normal boot.
The best you can get aside from a reformat is to scan the drive from a known clean OS (a live cd or another machine), but that's still not an absolutely sure thing.
