You may want to give Osmos a shot. It's not like Bejeweled or Zuma as you aren't matching pieces. It's a very chilled out game where you propel a "bubble" around to merge with other bubbles. So long as you are bigger than the bubble you are merging with, you're fine, but if you're smaller, you lose. The very act of propelling, though, makes you smaller. It's entirely mouse controlled.
The game has three basic play modes, only one of which features "enemies" that act outside the physics you instigate yourself.
Check it out on youtube.
Hah, I don't have my joystick yet but I started IL-2. Just about all I can do is read about WW2-era hardware because I don't think I have the finger dexterity or memory to bother learning to fly with a keyboard when you can crash on the runway if your flaps are wrong or you don't correct for propeller torque with your ailerons.
At least my stick is do in a week and then I can shoot down some dirty Fascists/Communists/Capitalists/Finnish.
I lost my Torchlight activation key.
AGAIN!
I hope they'll send it to me again. I just re-opened my helpdesk ticket about the issue.
Bookmark this until a daily deal hits.
If I tell myself that, it just might happen.
It's one of the only games that I've played for 62 hours in two weeks.
Steam 3DS: 1160-9885-2554
I still have not played it.
They are all stand alone. There is a nod to the first game in Armored Princess in the first few moments of the game. Haven't had the time to finish it and get started on crossworlds personally to find out if it is the same.
I'm this close to heading back into the crypt and fighting all the ghouls blind with my enhanced Witcher senses, Daredevil-style.
edit: woo now it's spiking up to 500, but thats still only 1/3 what I usually get
You need high quality hooch to use an as alchemical base for potions
I tend to raid pretty much every vendor of any alchohol that is high or very high quality regularly due to this
The first half or so is pretty awesome. Then it goes into crazy land. Like, you're doing random things for no reason that you know about. And then the game abruptly ends right there, and you've won?
I can get so much booze I didn't even feel it was worth mentioning. This country is drowning in booze, which I guess is not really surprising considering.
OK reading the wiki maybe I don't need special equipment after all? BRB, gonna go meditate and give this a shot.
EDIT: Fuck, beaten on the last page. Sooooo...Risen sucks ass, I guess.
Oh. But still, even if it's just the first half that's awesome, it's still more Kotor. :P
I haven't beaten it or gotten far but it was fun, might be worth 9 bucks for another piece of it.
But the last few days have been good for coping, but I'm afraid tomorrow I may lapse...
Ya, Oblivion is bugged so that any time you attack an enemy or kill an enemy it will freeze for about 5 seconds. At least that has been happening to me on every computer I play it on and I have tried everything to fix it.
Would not recommend buying a game that may not work.
My belief in this fact is unshakable.
I admit it's not entirely straightforward (different strengths and qualities of alcohol, ingredients having both a primary and a secondary characteristic) but you should at least have the basics down after helping Triss.
Now I try not to ever mix potions without them
Also, wouldn't mind seeing a crazy sale price for nwn2, so I can take a chance on that.
There's a sort-of-sequel coming early next year that will sell for 15 dollars that looks interesting.
Unless you can take a time machine back to yesterday, start hoping it shows up on the second chance sale on Sunday, because they just had NWN2 for $10
Sigh. Time to look at their support site.
The gentlest of mans, if you will.
Also keep an eye out for books and read anything you can. You never know what you'll learn.
The biggest barrier to The Witcher besides the quirky combat is the general oddness of some of its basic systems. It's not so much an RPG but a Geralt Simulator. Once you realize that Geralt is all about being awesome, then it's ok.
I thought that was postponed indefinitely. They put up an announcement on their front page and everything a few years back. Or am I crazy?
I guess I'm safe till tomorrow.
Unless I suddenly need Crysis.
(Please do not gift. My game bank is already full.)
The game itself is not necessarily bugged. Based on personal experience, that's a sound card issue. Are you using onboard motherboard sound? I had that exact issue in both Oblivion and Mount & Blade. Sticking a cheapo sound card in to take the load off the mobo cleared that right up for me
I didn't even know my pipes went to 9 megs/second.
what this steam sale needs is sin of a solar empire. but i don't even see it for sale through steam!
