Well yeah, it's like the new low-sodium version of Mtn Dew, but with urine because I'm pretty sure Mtn Dew is at least 90% peepoops.

Also a fruit slurry in a tube? Yes please, I'd like a snackified drink. Laughed out LOUD at this!

Pepsi's CEO, who probably makes more in a week than everyone reading this post will make in a year, actually said the following: "We see the emerging opportunity to 'snackify' beverages and 'drinkify' snacks as the next frontier in food and beverage convenience."

A professor of nutrition at New York University uses fewer made-up buzz words in her assessment of the product. "They start out with real food, so let's give them credit for applesauce and mashed-up bananas," but "the rest of it is sugar," she tells the Journal. "Kids would be better off eating an apple or a banana."

What they say about it is that it is often processed with Mercury, and has been tested to contain trace amounts of it.

They also say that it increases the risk for heart disease, has an influence on the appetite hormones, and blunts sensations of fullness which could lead to overeating.

Moderation? The low glucose/high fructose thing affects appetite to discourage moderation. WTF.

If this year is anything like years previous, donations to Child's Play (and wandering, vagabond checks from friends of the initiative) aren't actually finished arriving - but the new year is a good time to take a final count, and then relate said count to the people who made the count so stupidly, inconceivably big. $2,294,317.53 is the total, which ticks the lifetime total to just under nine million, which is what you made happen in my most secret dreams. If it is possible to Win Charity, you have done so. This year, at least. If you have any ideas about how we're supposed to crest over 2.3 million dollars next year, I'm open to suggestions.
So this year Child's Play pulled in almost 1/4 of it's 7 year total.
