anyways I figured since the target audience is 8 year olds they'd be a bit more wary of any swear words filtering through eeven as part of another word.

I have a podcast now. It's about video games and anime!Find it here.
It's a lot easier one you realize it's basically pronounced like the acronym "BEM" (Bug Eyed Monster). Its preevo, Elgyem is pretty clever too -- LGM (Little Green Man).
yo so 3 questions.
1. does Black come with a pokewalker.
2. did they fix acid rain.
3. any reports as to the grind? heart gold is so fuckin grindy it may be the first Pokemon game I don't finish.
They're really going wild with the clumsy and impossible to pronounce theme.
How confirmed are most of these names though? I agree that a lot of them seem a bit overdone.

I'd say there's about a 99% chance of them being correct. They're from the same source that revealed nothing but real the Pokemon designs for the 5th gen prior to release, and several of them -- Cofagrigus, Gothitelle, and Woobat among them -- were revealed to be true not too long after the list was posted.
I got SS over the holidays and have been playing it constantly. Sadly my DS' charge cable broke so while I wait for my new one to get shipped to me I set-up the pokewalker.
What is there to do with it? I've had it on me the last 2 days while at work and have racked up over 18K steps per day as well as just under 2K watts. I tried the mini games, got a few items and caught a Pidgey (weeee) Is there more to this thing?

I was able to transfer a Pokemon to it before my DS died. Is there a max amount of watts and experience I can get per Pokemon? I won't be able to play SS again until late next week.

More pokemon types unlock as you get more steps per day. Most are unlocked after 5000 steps. You can only gain 1 level per trip to the Pokewalker. I presume you're on the first course (Refreshing Field)? The Type A pokemon on that are Doduo or Kangaskhan, which can only appear (randomly) after 3000 steps.
kangaskhan is a god early on when it has double or even triple the base stats of anything else available and only decreases slightly in usefulness as the game goes on
They popped up at exactly the same time. Do you really think some faker was refreshing IGN 24/7 to see if they have leaked some more names before releasing their own list full of fake names after quickly filling in the IGN names and replacing the names for the (pre)evos of the ones that IGN leaked with ones that are in the same vein or have the same ring to it so that they don't stand out?
You can when they get released simultaneously and it is not humanly possible for someone to fill the confirmed ones in/replace their own made-up names and think up evos that go along with them within seconds.
aw hell
I zipped past Emolga, quickly assuming that I just didn't understand what two words had been combined.
Nope, its the Pika clone curse again.
I don't understand why they wouldn't give Emolga and Pachirisu regular english names

Especially because this is the first time that they have ever given one of the electric rodent family a new name in English. Even Plusle and Minun were called just that in Japan. So with the flying squirrel they might've just as well gone ahead and changed the whole thing instead of just one letter (n to l) for who knows what reason.
Possibly because "mong" in British English is a very rude slang for someone with Down's Syndrome (basically the equivalent of "tard.")? I don't know, that's the only reason I can see.
On topic, love the German numbers for the dark/dragon hydra.

I'm still baffled why lego universe said that my username was profane.

I thought it was just supposed to be a kind of gargly roar that the eagle would make

Also Woobat and Swoobat are the best names and a pretty awesome localization of the Japanese names.

Thank you for using the word "portmanteau". For some reason, that made my day.
Oh, and don't forget, Shiny Entei on Monday.
Hey, that rhymed.

I don't think anyone was doubting the IGN ones (which are the ones at that link), just the list of all of them
Sounds a bit overly elaborate, doesn't it?

I hope Emolga was a typo, for instance.

Notably the aliens, and the judomons seem odd

That's true. I was wondering about that, is it co-FAG-rig-us, or COFF-egregious? Because the first one is um...
If they were named like that (using the spellings you used)it would be fine.
As it stands they're needlessly complex
