    i dont think i can get more hyped for the 3ds than i already am

    I'd guess it's to highlight that Pit was in Smash Bros. or it's the same studio or something. Because I would be very surprised if they released Brawl for 3DS. Not that it'd be weird to have a Smash Bros. game for it, but that is specifically the Brawl character select screen.

    Also, that SSF4 box is bigger than what I'm used to for portable games.

    EDIT: I guess the site that image comes from says that it's a card and not a box.

    It's in Japan. There will be an event in New York and Amsterdam on the 19th.

    They tend to underestimate, may be closer to 4-6 hours, but yeah.

    Doesn't really bother me personally that much, I play my handhelds at home anyway. But I can see why others might be disappointed.

    My mobile only last about 3.782 seconds gaming, so I don't mind those times, especialy since the trade off is against those pretty visuals!

    Boo on battery life. That's basically how Nintendo came out on top whenever they were challenged with superior hardware. I guess they can take solace in the fact the PSP2 will probably be worse?

    Creating Miis via the camera is freaking cool though.

    I can't believe that they wouldn't give you a simple cord solution, docks take up too much space. Particularly with space at a premium for Japanese people. :)

    I doubt it would make much difference, because some games will harness that extra processing power you save by using it for anti aliasing or what-have-you. Resident Evil Revelations is one example.



    Well, this stream is pretty boring so far! But it's just the introductory stuff. I really want to see the augmented reality things coming up after the Mii junk.

    Wikipedia has some info, although for PSP you're going to have so many different numbers. Also, huh, DSi has lower battery life than DSLite on the same brightness settings.

    The question I have: what brightness setting is this battery life for the 3DS for?
