Well That's annoying... 30 minute ban because I got disconnected even though I immediately relogged and rejoined the game. Their "leave" policy really needs to be able to differentiate between d/cing and leaving
Hmmm, good thing it isn't me with the server being f'ed.
Same thing happened to me last night, play with a few friends, doing really well and then just me lag/froze to being kicked off the server and LoL erroring out and demanding a reinstall. Which I did, even ran CCleaner like they suggested, to then log back in and endlessly try to rejoin the match to no avail. And then Riot sends me some BS e-mail about being a Leaver and that game stating as such. Some big ole BS right there.
Yeah, I just had a round that started 2v1(twisted fates). Halfway through, second guy on my team came in.
I still went 12/1/1 and won almost single handedly as AP TF.
The one death was from trying to take on a dragon too early, by the by.
Although it was funny. After dying to the dragon, Im running towards my ally, and him and the enemy cho are going at it. Both are almost dead, like, slivers of life left. So, I toss wild cards in and kill cho. Dudes starts crying about kill stealing.
I was 7/1/1 at this point, he was 0/2/2. Im such a kill stealer alright, just cant do well enough on my own apparently.
Well, the other guys were pretty bad, kept pushing way too much, so I eventually caught up to be one of top people by the end(love AD TF, I need to try out the AP one too).
Laning against bliz in my first PA inhouse was quite humbling after my incredible 3 (!) win streak. I guess I need more practice playing passively and only focusing on farm in a dangerous lane, I could not help trying and failing to rupture him.

Nothing wrong with bad friends as long as they're willing to learn. It's just when you get people who have no investment in the game and don't really care if they're powerballing into the enemy team to die instantly 16 times and/or think advice is destructive criticism (possibly, in both cases, because they're hella high at the time). Perfectly nice in real life, but playing LoL with them is an exercise in frustration.
Urgot, Ryze, Mord, Teemo and Cait vs Veigar, Poppy, Cho, Eve and Udyr.
Which team should win pretty much all the damn time? Oh and one team doesn't use wards and rarely gets Oracle.
Yup, the team with The Got wins. Sure everyone on the other team knew how to play. Ryze/Cait/Teemo just died everytime Veigar was near.(ESPCALLY Ryze, holy shit he just dropped.) Poppy smacked the shit out of people. Udyr was all Fists of Fury everywhere. Cho was big, tough and nom noming. And Eve was a bitch. I think they had like 40+ kills to our 20 something.
I'm still not sure how we won. (Other than Urgot with BV says "FUCK YOU VEIGAR AND GET THE OVER HERE!")The only knock against the other team is that the Eve player was a total cockbag the whole match.

The first teams wins because the second team only has an AP carry, not an AD carry.
Cait is a pretty crappy AD carry and Urgot has some issues still, but that's enough provided Mord can front-line long enough for them.

I know how you feel. I've had some weird fucking wins lately.

If Veigar gets blown up early in a fight the second team has no reliable damage aside from Poppy and Udyr. Poppy doesn't have any tagets that are super important to your team (and actually can get away relatively easily). Cait has the slow, Teemo has MQ. And Urgot has shield and ult all making Poppy and Evelyn weaker.
Your team was actually significantly better, and they needed Veigar to survive or Udyr/Eve/Poppy to wreck you early and have them win early game (Which with 3 gank type heroes like that it makes it harder since you expect the roaming)
Let me guess that they weren't pushing well, and if they were it slowed more and more later on in the game, and eventually they're early burst really amounted to very little late game.

Well I guess it did help their 3 front towers were down before the 12 min mark. Uydr was jungling. Cho and Eve were top vs Ryze and Mord, I think, coulda been Teemo. Veigar was mid vs Mord... or Teemo. I was with Cait bot vs Poppy and she couldn't do a thing. I was afraid that we took the towers too soon. I had a mana crystal, a sword and boots. So yeah.
Later in the game they pushed pretty well. They got our mid inhib down and all of our top towers and one bot but we held them off even after they got Baron twice. Actually, I don't think they pushed much after that. We would push a tower and then just get wiped out. Well, everyone else would I was watching for the backdoor, which they did quite a bit of. And Teemo was Eve hunting and sometimes backdooring. (They were both talkin alot of shit to each other.) I think Veigar was killed a couple times during our pushes which I guess prevented them from pushing back for some reason.
I dunno, it just feels werid that we won. Cause they(mostly Veigar) were kicking our ass. At least it felt that way cause Ryze and Cait were dying a whole lot. But I will say that in those moments I were able to, I destroyed Eve and Veigar. And made Uydr and Poppy think twice about going 1 on 1 against me.
If only there were a Record Game feature... and I wish I took a screen shot at the end so I could see my teams builds. I'm pretty sure 3 out of the 5 of us had no means of getting out of a stun.
I haven't read the last 8 pages, but are the patch notes leaked yet?
No - Riot's unwritten stance is a preview video 2-3 days before the patch and notes unavailable until ~12 hours before servers go down for maintenance.
My team consists ofShen(me), Ashe, Olaf, Annie, and Lux vs. Sivir, Amumu, Xin, Teemo, and someone one, can't remember. By the 25 minute mark they had 3 of our towers down and we had none of theirs down. My team refused to leave the towers because they were too scared of the other team.
My team also had garbage builds. They could not deal any damage. For instance, we were all in the jungle chasing Amumu (he had used his ult at our tower in hopes of escaping) and Teemo, the rest of their team comes in after Teemo dies and I taunt all of them (they were in a straight line) and after it wears off they decide to continue to focus me. I survived for about 6 seconds and my team did not manage to kill a single fucking person. They did not kill any of them.
So I really don't think it had much to do with impatience and instead dealt with complete fucking cowardice to do anything at all and garbage builds.
I don't know, I might be wrong, maybe pushing towers is not the only way to win, maybe my team was changing how this game worked. Either way they refused to follow me so that I could initiate a fight and would not leave the base after a while
It sounds like you were pretty far behind. If you're far behind the only thing you can really do is turtle and hope the enemy team makes a big mistake and fights you 5v5 at a tower. Initiating a teamfight outside of tower range in that situation is a mistake. Just keep moving to towers as they try to push them, or maybe catch them halfway through Baron and fight them when they're low from that.
Since you're behind, if they play everything correctly, you will simply lose. But running out and pushing towers is definitely playing right into their hands. You need to make it as easy as possible for them to fuck up and let you back in the game.
Your team was probably right to turtle.

Ugh... I really should've queue dodged. I thought about it. I saw someone choose Twitch and nearly did it.
Game went so bad. We should have won, too.
I went 5/4/19 as Singed. I started off 5/1/xx. But whenever I initiate they wouldn't focus my flung target, which was usually Pantheon or Karthus. So then they get kills and I run away a losing fight because of it. Sometimes dying.
Our Twitch was 4/15/12. I knew I should have dodged.

Ayup.
And then complain that the jungler isn't coming to gank your lane. Hmm, can't imagine why.

The score was around 25/25 approaching the 20 minute mark. Only one tower down for each team.
