    So I watched the pilot for The Cape. It's pretty okay. They aren't doing the whole "What if superheroes were real" that Heroes was doing. It's much more of a comic made into a TV show. The bad guys are definitely in the super villain mold.

    What's the general consensus on Turkish Delight?

    A co-worker was giving away some candy today. I picked it based on faint memories of having it a long time ago, and (of course) the Narnia story. He then proceeded to ask if I was really really sure I wanted it; evidently, others had pretty strong negative reactions to it.

    It was pretty awesome.

    i don't know how the real deal is, but the western gelatin kind you get in middling candy boxes i'm not a fan of at all

    Yeah so I have heard Pony. I think I will probably wait like a month for and see where it is at since that should be its big first update. I really want to like it though because it has such a fun premise.

    There's a place near me that does proper authentic Turkish delight. Well, it's made by Arabs, anyway. I think they're actually Lebanese. But anyway it's delicious.

    I did once. ONCE. It turned out to be "world" music. A bunch of guys drumming, making the africa face. Singer doing those vaguely eastern melody moans. Ran the hell out of there.

    Abd: yeah, I think combat is going to happen, unless you're all dedicated to talking armed soldiers down, and even then... Just bear in mind that I do intend for the beginning adventure of the campaign to be a lot like the rest of it.

    Ok nerds, usb peripherals that aren't plugged into the two main usb ports on my comp (where the keyboard and mouse are plugged in) are now ceasing to function if I stop using them for a several minutes. They start working again if I remove and reinsert the plug but I have to make sure they are constantly in use or they, like, go to sleep.

    Any ideas?
