Wow, I think the marketing department of the NHL is stuck in the 90s. Making a roster of super-heroes for each hockey teams? The idea itself is weird and uninspired. It gets dumber when it ends up in the hands of Stan Lee, whose designs are just lazy and uninspired. Don't get me wrong, I still respect the man for what he has done in the comic book industry but... This project is just awful.
Just look at the Tampa Bay Lightning's Guardian blue mohawk and you can only deduce that what Stan Lee think is cool is based on a vision of what people thought was cool at the beginning of the 90s. Like a mix between a bad saturday morning TV show and one of Rob Liefeld's character design.
The Coyote Phoenix's Guardian is just a voodoo-esque version of Wolverine. What in God's name...
Apparently we'll have a full 3D version of the Guardians fighting a super-vilain during the NHL All-Star game. My prediction is that the vilain will be "The Referee", just to make the whole thing even more funnier.
Is the dimensionality deepening and enriching the quality of the horse beating? Cause I gotta be honest, the hollow thud of an argument hitting a hollow and rotting 3d corpse always kinda gave me headaches.
Mully post art!
This horse beating is so fucking immersive you have no idea

Surely the glasses will fall off frequently during the beating.
Sweet, then I'm about as set as I can be in concrete about this whole SCAD thing. Lots of flaming hoops to jump through but I'm confident that I'll get in. Thanks a lot Night Dragon for helping me with that.
I have a car, and sadly it's not even here in Hawaii with me. I have spent sooooo much money on her, but she is fast, and I like the freedom of knowing I can just toss my stuff into the backseat, peel out in second of whatever situation I'm in, and head to new horizons. I've done it, and man, nothing feels better than road signs disappearing over your shoulder.
Um....does anybody know any good photoshop brushes? I want a good sketch brush for tiny (5-20 pixels) drawings and then just some chalky/pastel brushes that'll blend and blur at larger resolutions for lighting and shade stuff.
oh man
so
i rarely come into the forums anymore
i read H&A because it's entertaining, and i look in the AC doodle thread & some choice artist threads, because you guys are hells of talented and amazing
but i mean, i used to be a constant SE++er
i decide i should go back in, take a look
first thread i find
SUPER interesting first post
i go to last post, to join in what's sure to be an interesting conversation
and it's
it's just terrible
terrible people
i love you guys, ac
group hug
That's the main thing that keeps me from participating in most SE threads; by time I get to them the topic that started it has long since been abandoned. And since I don't have the kind of down-time to sit around on the forums like I did when I was 19, it all tends to just pass me by. :?
One of the reasons I've always enjoyed the AC's notoriously slow chat threads.

sweeeet. I'm loading up on a bunch of brushes, I don't have internet back at my house, so I'm loading up on what I can so I can fiddle around and do some art. Maybe tomorrow I'll have something worthwhile to post.
P.S. Christ. LBP2 is amazing, especially the improved dev tools. Back in my day we had to physically build our own logic gates. Kids these days. Don't even have to re-invent the wheel every time they want a door to open conditionally.
Just talked to my immigration consultant yesterday, and the reality of my situation is pretty bleak to be honest. There's a sturdy possibility I could go home and never be able to return.
Well, that's not entirely true. I could save up enough money to go back to school, study the right way to get PR paperwork, but it could come at a cost of me starting my life at a way later age (say, 25), and then it would take a few more years before I became an official Resident of Canada.
This is all considering it would take a year to save up the money I needed, to study a profession with a two-year degree minimum, and praying that I managed to get a year's worth of work in my field before the 2 year post grad window is up (the longer your study period, the longer your post-graduate permit window, and you can only apply for it once ever). Also throw in the fact that the thing I have interest in studying would make me broke-ass poor until i'm in my late 30's.
I'm not really sure what to do here to be honest. If I settle down back in Texas it'll be way easier to carve a living down there, but I will probably be pretty miserable for quite some time. If I pursue the possibility of studying in Canada again, I would be able to do it, but I wouldn't really get my start until i'm mostly finished with my 20's, and i'd probably need to study something stable enough to get my paperwork through.
I don't get to work in the US for another 2-ish years. And even then, I might have to take another year of school unless American immigration shows pity on me.

My Portfolio Site
You all live near-by right?
let me fax myself to you and I'll be right over.
It sure would improve Mega Shark VS Giant Octopus, that's for sure.
Sharks are terrifying.
But then a giant shark jumps out of the water and eats a plane...
... And now I'm reminded of my fear of flying.
Time to watch Alive.
Unless there's sharks in the Andes. Then I'm FUCKED.
I think you're drunk!

I recommend Adonih's "My brush pack"
I also enjoy RobGs brush pack, which is offline since he switched accounts, but I have it hosted here: http://www.4shared.com/file/S20_VVs7/RobGs_Brush_Pack.html
Shit just got real.
WTFU

wuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

EDIT: Holy shit.
I think I remember it being like a mix of WoW and Digimon.
And Fug you were in it.
And so was Lexxy.
And I remember being pissed because I had a lot of work to do for a client but I was somehow forced to go on some bullshit adventure.
(I've never played Digimon)
Thats YuGiOh
