They're both completely different, like Scat said. It's all a matter of preference, really. I prefer SoH as well, but I used Hardened Pro my first two prestiges, and it made a pretty big difference. One thing I've noticed about Black Ops is that Treyarch seems to have vastly reduced our ability to hit people through cover, even on Assault Rifles, which tend to have pretty decent penetration values. If you've got Hardened, though, it feels a lot more natural; if a guy's standing at a window, and a couple of my bullets hit the surface beneath him, he still gets hit.
I wouldn't recommend Hardened for every map, but on Firing Range, where everyone's posted up behind thin boards and inside trailers, you'll notice the difference right away. And yeah, once you get Hardened Pro, and you flinch less when you get shot ... shit gets real.
So apparently the game is being hacked again very easily, and thousands of people are getting all of the perks / guns / attachments / gold guns again at an alarming rate. We were getting 2-3 of these hackers a game and had to report them like crazy.
Not gonna lie, hunting down morons with gold guns is fun. I had someone call me a hacking bitch because I found him in a well hidden spot, but his gold-plated L96 sticking out of the side of a bush kinda drew my attention.
This better be a bannable issue, and Treyarch better really be on the ball on this one. We probably reported 100 different people tonight atleast for the gold guns.

I was wondering why we saw people with gold guns last night when no one in the lobby was above a 6th prestige. This glitch is probably going to spread quickly, so I hope Treyarch is on the ball with getting rid of it. The gold guns is obnoxious but harmless, it's getting all pro perks without actually earning them that's the real problem.
EDIT: Scatman, I liked your commentary. It was more interesting than many I've heard before.
Do games show up in the theatre eventually if the host dashboards out and the game crashes?

Hm, I haven't checked. But now that I actually took the time to figure out how the theatre works... I'm going to have to work on some more clips. I keep grinning like an idiot while looking at my own grenade throat-kill.
My PS3 keeps wanting me to play it in 3D. It autodetects and defaults to 3D if you have the capability. So I gave it a shot on an outdoor level, and it gave me a headache.
I gave it another shot last night in Kowloon and it was pretty fantastic.
Also, without knowing who the dev was I could nail it as Treyarch simply due to the huge difficulty spikes in some areas!
