Well... it's considerably better then the "I won't vote with you just to spite you" malarkey.

EDIT: better not say who that was directed at! they might be accused of having a messiah complex!

In case I struck a nerve, here is reasoning....

All of these have never voted on each other for one thing (until today at least).

    - Enlightenedbum
    - Extermatott
    - Mr. Defecation
    - schuss
    - skarsol
    - The Cow King

Never voted on phyphor - enlightendbum, Mr. Def, pezzy, REG Rysk, schuss, skarsol, The Cow King

High posting on Day 3 - Extermatott, Garick, Heffling, Kias, REG Rysk

Voted Dragon on day 3 - enlightenedbum, Extermattot, Kias, Mr. Def, Nodgarb, Phyphor, The Cow King

Did not vote on phyphor day 4 - Extermatott, Mr. Def, pezzy, REG Rysk, schuss, skarsol, The Cow King

Last 5 votes on Phyphor day 4 - CaptainPlanet, Cleonicus, Green, Heffling, Sir Fabulous

Got quiet after day 3 - Alt_Raven, Extermatott, Kias, Sir Fabulous

Real life is a factor here, but these were my thoughts on what was happening. Other names are on there, but not as common. Still kinda hunches though.

Treaty of the Confines, Article Six

Wherein it becomes obvious to those Watching that the Confines cannot uphold the law and order within its borders on its own, the Newly Come will insert within the premises a number of hunters, no more than half the population, no less than one eighth. It will then be within the hands of the Hunters to subdue the problem within the Confines, neutralize the responsible parties, and proceed with whatever steps are deemed necessary to establish tranquility. Extermination of the residents within the Confines will not be authorized under any circumstances, unless a member of the Confines has breeched the outer borders and caused harm upon the unsuspecting population of the Newly Come. At which point should this unthinkable action occur, there will be given no quarter to the Children of the Ancients.

-So Signed the Council of Creation

Your location seemed to be fairly safe at the moment. Jacques and Alejandro were conversing together over the maps and the fallen positions. All of the Children were falling back to this point, or others nearby. It was as though the Hunters had this planned to happen, as though they had studied, determined, and anticipated every move, every defense, every location that your forces had been able to assemble.

You were seeming to play into their hands at every moment, and the numbers of the losses were staggering. Ilona could not stop her wailing as every one of her sisters had been slain in cold… well they didn’t bleed, they more misted, slain in cold mist. The other forces were still intact, but only barely. Jacques had two units left, and they seemed to be the ones getting hit the hardest. Alejandro appeared concerned, but no more than Donovan. Donovan had just as many out there, and he had yet to lose a single unit. Donovan considered himself lucky in that regard. But he was still concerned. They were all concerned. Over half the forces were gone and the Hunters seemed to be everywhere.

The only one that seemed not as concerned as the others was Danava, the demon. You had been given into his, her, its care for the moment. You were not, however, going to make the mistake of asking what Danava was, or had been. You had done that once already and when you woke up from the twenty minute coma after he punched you, you figured it was probably for the best to not ask again. Danava was huge, blue, had horns, a tail, and hooves. The stories said that the Demons were the leftovers from the Banshee’s revenge sprees, but you weren’t sure that was true.

After all, Danava might have had all of those bizarre features, on top of being one big muscle group ready to cause pain, but there was something, attractive. Lithe figure underneath overwhelming power. An attraction that could be fascinating, but also deadly. Danava was telling you of their heritage, that of the Demons. They were not all alike, you see, the Demons were newer Children, a creation that was not the same as the others. They had been created last, the youngest of the Children. But they had been given a gift, a gift so precious that the other Children coveted having a Demon of their own. Nobody was equal within the Confines, do not be fooled by the camaraderie around you now, Danava whispered into your mind, do not be fooled, for as soon as the Newly Come were turned back once more, the barriers would fall back into place, the castes would resume the way they always had, and life would go back to the never ending battle for power.

Danava sighed, a sound at both terrifying and heavenly in its mix of high and low pitches, and looked at you with eyes that belonged on a woman intent on having her way with you, but glowing with a red fire that made you want to scream and run for the closest gate to hell. The voice within your head, Danava’s voice was both soft spoken and firm, gentlemanly and feminine and it was getting hard to ignore the growing erection in your pants, “You would be better served, Child, had you died beneath the earth. Had you not struggled so hard for survival. You would be even better served still were you to go out and die in the battle. Life will not be as simple as all of this, when the Newly come are gone.”

And with that, Danava walked away to catch the new report from the front lines. You seemed compelled to follow after Danava, to crawl on your knees towards Danava, to be closer to Danava, even if only to hear the words yourself, even if only to catch that smell that you could not identify, but somewhere in your mind you knew that the odor was that of Danava, and there was nothing else in this world that could compare to that smell. Even the glass of blood in your hand seemed flat and flaccid compared to the scent and the temptation of Danava. But you forced yourself to focus on the report, and not on the twitching tail of Danava, that led up to the hindquarters, to the hips and muscled thighs of danava….

“They got two of ours again, Grand general. One of Jacques’ cavalry units has fallen, and sadly, the last of your infantry commanders has been felled. Split to the stern and splayed for the world to see. However, there is some good news, what solace it may bring us. We got two of theirs. Just normal Newly Come. No new equipment, nothing too dangerous that couldn’t be used against them. Unfortunately, we only got the two. And there are not as many of us as there were before. Excuse me, Sirs, Ma’am, Danava.”

You had been focused on the report, it was devastating but heartening, maybe this was not over yet, at least until the runner had spoken Danava’s name. And surely enough, your eyes were back on Danava, the back of the demon was thin, straight as possible with just the right curve to support the massive muscles and what appeared to be spikes growing out of Danava’s spine. Thoughts of lust began to race through your mind, curiosity of what the spines would feel like, would they enjoy being stroked, pleasured, licked…

And that was all you had time to think before the clubbed end of danava’s tail smacked into your temple and you were headed to blackout bliss. One last thought in your mind before nothingness enveloped you again.

    Danava touched me.

Well... in that case, perhaps the big tuffle between me and the village was a blessing in disguise. The mafia got overconfident and provided a very nice list of targets by voting for heff.

In my opinion, Kias, Schuss, Mr. D, and enlightenedbum are the most suspicious in that order.

It's possible. Alot depends on how many Mafia were selected originally. They are down 3, so if you assume 10 initially, then we'd have 7 left. Meaning we need at least 14 villagers or 21 players remaining. We have, I think, 24 players left. So, if we don't have many missteps, it's possible for us to pull off a win. But it won't be easy.

looking at the list on the front page, we only have 15 TOTAL players remaining.

Edit: hence the curiousity if we can pull this off assuming we are correct every time killing 1 mafia per day, while they kill 2 village.

May as well put a few of my reasonings out there too, Schuss I think is mafia because he did a "comedy" vote on Mr. D when he knew that Mr. D wouldn't be voted out... this seems like the kinda inside joke you would do when you know he really is mafia, but think you have it made. Schuss later switched his vote to Heff when things got serious.

Mr. D. for the reasons explained above and also for voting for Heff.

Kias for jumping on Heff as soon as it looked reasonable, and at the same time suggesting that i'm not "Confirmed"

Looking at yesterday's narration, Hava gave us a clue in how many hunters there could possibly be with:
Wherein it becomes obvious to those Watching that the Confines cannot uphold the law and order within its borders on its own, the Newly Come will insert within the premises a number of hunters, no more than half the population, no less than one eighth.

If we assume a minimum number, 1/8'th of 50 is 6.25. So at a minimum, we're dealing with 6-7 Mafia, meaning we have 3-4 left to take down.

They have two kills each night. Assuming 4 left as a worst case, then if we hit up a Mafia member each night, we'll win with 3 villagers left. If we end up voting off one villager, the game will be a tie. If we end up voting off two villagers, we lose.

I think we've got two solid targets in Enlightenedbum and Schuss.

Kias I'm not so sure about. He voted for me early as a placeholder, and never changed his vote. I suspect his was a spite vote and he never logged back in to change it. However, I would keep him down in case no other targets come up for day 3 or 4.

    Schuss Voting History:
    Day 1 - Ringo
    Day 2 - Rawkking
    Day 3 - Romanqwerty
    Day 4 - Garick
    Day 5 - Heffling

    Kias Voting History:
    Day 1 - Romanqwerty
    Day 2 - 3clipse
    Day 3 - Dragon6860
    Day 4 - Phyphor
    Day 5 - Heffling

    Mr. Defication Voting History:
    Day 1 - Ringo
    Day 2 - Dragon6860
    Day 3 - Dragon6860
    Day 4 - Mr. Defication
    Day 5 - Heffling

Looking at the voting histories, and the previously posted history of Enlightened bum, each of these persons looks to have gone for Dragon6860 on day 3 except Schuss, who went for Romanqwerty. None went for Phyphor. Kias was the only one to vote on day 4 for Phyphor, but that could have been just throwing Phyphor under the bus, since he was screwed anyway. Day 5, of course, they all went after me.

What is the order of actions? Do mafia kills take priority over other actions?

    Vote> Guard> Vig> Mafia>Other

Actually, the above means that we can lose one villager and still win, because it would be 2 villagers vs 1 mafia on the last day.

Funny, I'm targeted because I'm terrible at figuring out mafia and (I'm guessing)I post a lot. Only reason I voted for mr. d yesterday was because it looked like the bandwagon on heff was unstoppable at that point.
I later changed to heff as he seemed most suspicious over the last day or two and I had a minute on my phone to vote before the GF yelled at me.
I personally think Kias, Pezzy or enlightenedbum, but as I said, I'm just going to go with the bandwagon tonight as apparently I'm failmaster supreme at picking out villager vs. mafia.
Vote me out or keep me, doesn't matter to me, I've had a lot of fun this game and enjoyed our many discourses and theories. I'm still pulling for the village victory and I think we can do it.
