Hey guys, so I previously made a thread asking what to expect driving in Florida during a diving trip I went on last year. So I'm returning to visit my girlfriend who is interning in Orlando at a resort and we're planning on staying in Jupiter for a few days to dive. Apparently this is some of the best reef diving in the area, at least according to the testimony of a few locals she knows. So my question is, how is the driving between Orlando and Jupiter? I didn't really have any problems last time but this was mostly between Venice and Tampa, anything to really watch out for driving mid-day in late February? Also, for any divers, do you have any recommendations on who to rent/charter with for scuba? Anything cool to do? She's talking about beaching it as well but I know the Atlantic is going to be quite a few shades cooler then the Gulf that time of year, but it still beats -4 °F weather up here . Anyways, just a little nervous, I'm already paying an extra rental fee for only being 21.

I pass by Jupiter and Orlando on the turnpike roughly every two weeks. If you take the turnpike south from Orlando to Jupiter, it's a pretty smooth ride. Whenever I hit the Orlando area it definitely gets a bit congested, but it's not that bad. And it's not the rainy season, which means less accidents. As always, watch out for state troopers, but I usually see more speedtraps in the northbound routes.
Not sure what it's like if you tried I-95.
I haven't been to it myself, but my fiancee went to the lighthouse in Jupiter and said it was nice.
