Played against an inheritor and a forerunner this weekend...the inheritor has played over 65 days of reach between multiplayer, campaign, firefight, and custom games....i wish i had that much free time...

i played the shit out of MechAssault when LIVE came out
too bad mechassault 2 sucked balls. Kinda like chromehounds. It's like, You can't have everything in the real world. A large mech should never go over such and such speed without running out of energy.
So , how hard are some of the achievements in the two map packs? I'm looking at the stockpile one (aka You Ate All the Chips) specifically, cause that seems pretty hard.
You At All The Chips you'll probably just get through the normal course of playing stockpile. Especially because I think Speedpile in Action Sack counts for it too.
I actually just got one of the defiant ones, the return 2 flags in a ctf matchmaking game one. I guess these aren't as hard as I was anticipating. Although the DMR one that you have to snipe across the entire map is annoying, because from what I'm seeing I basically need to do it on hemorrage.

So anyone got a suggestion on the best game type to do Totally Worth It? (Get a double kill from the grave achievement). It's the only noble map pack achievement im missing now. I'm thinking something in rumble pit, but im not sure. Something where a ton of people will be gathering in one place, ideally.
Team Slayer. Sword Base. Go up the green lift when more than one person is camping it, stick one. Get in a firefight up above and throw a bunch of grenades without taking cover. Use the grenade launcher emp followed by a frag grenade and charge them as you do it.
Go into big team and stick a warthog as it's driving by shooting you. Make sure it's wounded enough where the stick will do the trick. Another good trick is to flip a hog with the concussion rifle or a frag, then walk up and finish it off in the process of finishing yourself.
Anytime you're going to blow up two people, run up and give them a hug.
Not sure if I have the achievement yet, but I'd be surprised as hell if I didn't.
Edit: Sword Base on a pro slayer variant is even easier, since the lack of armor lock encourages noobs to camp with shotgun/swords on the lift. The aforementioned lack of armor lock also ensure the stick will kill both parties. I am of the opinion that 'pro' is more of a joke than anything else. It encourages abusing the power weapons and the armor abilities that work with them rather than playing like you have any real skill.

The rewards program is suuuuper slow. I've had stuff show up like 10 days later. It's not that big of a deal, they only deposit pending points at the 15th of every month, so you have a while before you would get the points anyway. I'd wait another couple of days, then send them an email.
edit: Classic objective confirmed to be AR/Magnum, I'm loling at the rage over that one right now. Cry moar! I guess the flag cooldown being removed for Classic wasn't enough for them.
Flag Carrier Cooldown is disabled in the Team Classic version of Classic CTF. You will also run at 90% speed with the flag. Flag at Home to Score and Touch Return are enabled.
edit: Classic objective confirmed to be AR/Magnum, I'm loling at the rage over that one right now. Cry moar! I guess the flag cooldown being removed for Classic wasn't enough for them.

It wasn't easy, but wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be.
If we have enough people for one team, we can usually pull it off legit, too. Though one person on the other team helps.
