So who's the target audience for this movie? Because I can see the crowd in this movie being composed of either LARPing nerdfucks who think this is the coolest movie ever or other nerds one step up on the nerd hierarchy who want to mock these people.

Druhim and I just watched this movie.

It blew my fucking mind.

Seriously, I'm going to need another day or two to parse all the goddamned sadness and misery in that movie into anything resembling a joke.

I didn't even know nap had created this thread until I got back from the film. Fuck. Some very funny scenes, especially the little kid going off on orcs for 5 or 10 minutes. Fuck that was hilarious and pretty much everybody was laughing at it. There were also very awkward scenes where you're basically just seeing how fucked up some of these people are, and I mean aside from the LARPing.

Oh hell yeah. Used to work as a stripper, living in parent's basement, single mother. Basically a whole litany of fucked up. Not all of them seemed that fucked up or took the LARPing that seriously but of course the relatively normal people aren't as interesting to film.
