So who's left that doesn't have an explicit moirail and hasn't already gone nuts? Karkat, Sollux, Terezi and Aradia don't, right? Of those, Sollux is unstable, Aradia's an unknown, and Karkat and Terezi are both fairly stable.
Nepeta and Equius are probably Gamzee bait, and it's easy to see Sollux flying off the handle and getting killed.
I'ma guess that the trolls that make it through to the other side are gonna be Karkat, Terezi, Aradia and Vriska.
Gamzee wasn't really very much for fighting was he?
Does he even have the levels to threaten anyone?

Friendship is a disease upon Trollkind. Moirallegiance is a perfectly fine Troll relationship. Kinda makes you wonder how Karkat is as stable as he is.
Someone last thread suggested "Bard of Death" for Gamzee and that might actually make sense. The kids' titles all have neutral-to-positive connotations (breath, light, time, and space), while the trolls have all of those plus a mix of decidedly more positive and negative ones. And if there's a Mage of Doom to counterbalance a Prince of Hope, maybe there should be a Bard of Death to counterbalance the Witch of Life.
And having it be that would certainly explain why Hussie has kept it from us all this time.
Although it's worth noting that Eridan did just kill pretty much the only friend Vriska's ever had. It'll be interesting to see her response to that.

also I think Karkat's fear has something to do with Gamzee's crazy royal blood color
Nah Eridan's blood is more royal than Gamzee's.
I think it's more that Gamzee is well and truely crazy even by troll standards. Psychopaths are normal in troll culture, but Gamzee comes off as even crazier to them.

Gamzee has been slowly going mad because of all the slime he eats
