I got $70 on amazon credit for my school books and a GOOD durable beard trimmer. I have a kick a$$ Norelco which I like but the heads (well I am clumsy) are all breaking since they are plastic. Does anyone have experience with beard trimmers that are durable?

Honestly I'd buy another Norelco. I got mine for like $20 (actually it was a gift, but that's what they cost) and I've been using it for over two years and the plastic adjustable guards are just now starting to loosen up. Unless you're going through a new set every six months or something, stick with what works...

Good point just hate having 2 norelcos working fine with broken heads, the clippers work at least.

You can do no better than a $10-20 Wahl trimmer. They crush the crappy Norelco and other brands. This was some sage advice from my uncle and it has been very good to me.

I have to say that I wouldn't get the 20 dollar wahls at wallmart. My beard keeps catching in the plastic cover and its never pleasant.

By "heads" do you mean the clipper guards? I've got a Toni&Guy brand trimmer that I adore. I had always gone for cheapy brands until I finally splurged on this one and it's worth it for sure.
Rechargeable. Retarded amount of attachments. Bendy/flex joint. Sturdy construction.
