Just watched the episode with Claire from Heroes lying to Stabler and Benson at every turn about her friend delving from hooking up to sex for favors to prostitution to hardcore porn. Within 6 months. I just love that she pops up giving a suspect 'favors' and she turns on the waterworks and Stabler's just, "Okay, well don't lie to us THIS time!". And then she just gets caught lying again and again.
Or the one that intentionally leaves the case wide open, with the art student and her professor where they throw reasonable doubt on both sides of the case and end the episode on "We find the defendant..." (black out). They love that one for marathons.
So many good episodes. It's like junk food for my brain.

i heart bd wong. he was also awesome in Father of the Bride "Every party needs a pooper thats why we invited you"
also, another svu episode that creeped me out was the one with the dad from the wonder years as the father of an adopted crazy girl who coerced her boyfriend into killing her adopted sister in a shooting, only they found out the little girl had syphillis, and turned out crazy girl also coerced the boyfriend into raping her adopted sister after she gave him the syph, and she had no remorse from years of abuse before getting adopted into the nice family and the dad was still trying to not have her get the lethal injection and god, just thinking about that episode is icky, just that last interogation scene
Ice T gives a long and detailed explaination that 'on the DL' means black men hooking up with other guys for sex but insisting they aren't gay. Everyone pauses and gives him a very significant look, and he's all "Don't look at me, I just know stuff." One of my favorite lines.

Before following any advice, opinions, or thoughts I may have expressed in the above post, be warned: I found Keven Costners "Waterworld" to be a very entertaining film.

The other one where he was the dad was good too. His daughter took a trip to New York to get an abortion and the clinic kept putting her off until it was legally too late so she had her boyfriend beat the fuck out of her and the Wonder Years Dad tried to disown her.
In my mind, the characters are the all related if they are played by the same actor. Like, even though we're talking about 2 different stories, as well as the Dad from Wonder Years, I like to think it's the same dad.
By that logic, I think that Casey Novak raped a stripper, then became the DA.
Also, I think BD Wong really is the captain from Mulan.

This is a very good episode.

Actually he didn't beat her, she tried to make him punch her in the stomach and then she started beating herself up I think.

I think my favorite episode of Law & Order: SVU might be Conscience. It was really great watching Kyle Maclachlan slowly losing it until he shoots a young boy in the court. It is also pretty weird episode for me because my dad looks a lot like Kyle Maclachlan (he's had strangers come up for his signature or photograph in the past).

I had done a fair amount of research on sociopaths before seeing that episode so I fucking loved it.
The fact that the "objections" section is longer than the description of the actual "hypothesis" makes me want to die
If Dwayne McDuffie saw that he would probably go bash his head on a wall for a while.
"GODDAMMIT YOU GUYS, MY FUCKING POINT. YOU MISSED MY FUCKING POINT. I EVEN WROTE IT OUT PLAIN AND SIMPLE AT THE END OF THE ARTICLE GODDAAAMMMMMIIITTTTT."
Also man, I didn't think I could love McDuffie more, but now I do. He is one of the rightest people in comics.

I loved the original L&O, but I never got into SVU (or any of the other 8 or so spinoffs). Liked the episodes I've seen, but just never really picked it up.

Oh yeah. I remember that episode. The guy who realized he had been duped by the sociopathic kid, so he killed him in court and plead insanity.

True.
They're all episodes of Dr. Who.
