That's right, a private eye.
I had a breakin while I was at work today.
Things they took:
1x Xbox. Modded, 3 controllers.
1x PS2. 2 controllers.
About 30x DVDs and games.
Things they left:
1x Xbox controller (they must have only been able to make 3 trips lol its hueg)
1x Camcorder sitting next to all of this.
2x 21 inch widescreen LCD monitors.
1x expensive computer.
1x Kimber 1911 handgun.
1x 7.62*54R rifle
1x Remington 870 express 12-gauge shotgun.
All the guns had locks on them, but that wouldn't keep someone from walking off with them.
If I ever find the fuckers that broke in, they'll be wishing they had taken that firepower
because it was more valuable than all the other stuff.

Actually, it's better for everyone if I don't find them. They get to live, I get to stay out of prison.
JordynNolz.com <- All my blogs (Shepard, Wasted, J'onn, DCAU) are here now!
You should look into that.
I say you sue Bungie.

Think back.
Nah, I've already called all the places around here and they didn't even get anything matching the description. So proving that it's mine is kind of out of the question.
And that Kimber, man, always a good choice.
EDIT: Oops, that was in the "Things they left" category
Bestforum was the beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeest
Yeah, I thought of that. I can't think of anyone like that in the past four months at least.
Nice couple of blocks, but the area around it can get sketchy.
I took too long to type this, so some of the parts have been mentioned.
From my extensive work at a Sheriff's Office, I'd say it's fairly likely it's someone you know who's been to the house before if they left all the other things of value. Anyone who'd been doing it for awhile wouldn't have ignored the other items, and probably would have taken them instead.
This all depends on how visible they would be from any neighbors or anything, as a neighbor watching a guy walk out of a house with some videogames wouldn't seem as suspicious as a guy walking out with an armful of guns. The camcorder is what gets me though - that's something that could easily be 50 bucks at a pawn shop. Given that the game systems stolen aren't exactly bringing top dollar nowadays, it would have been a sizeable addition to their haul if it was for monetary gain.
Definitely call the cops if you haven't already. Try and think of anyone who might have taken the items or any neighbors who may have been home to witness anything. If you have any ways of tracking any of it be sure to make note of it (serial numbers especially.) Any photos of your set-up that shows the DVDs/games/systems you had in your possession may help to prove that you at least owned the items at one point, which is half the battle if you have no identifiable traits for any of the items.
Hope it gets found man.
Think back harder. When I got burglarized, it was someone who'd been to one of my parties 10 months prior.
how did you catch them?(I assume you or someone did if you know who it is)
But that seriously sucks though. As slim as the chances are of getting you stuff back, I hope it still happens somehow.
Are you near a shady, inner-ciity community college? Because I am and in the past game systems have been stolen more than anything else from my housemates.
The burglar blabbed about it. My friends told me. SOMEONE set his Jeep on fire. All is well.
My temporary security system is called "00 buck," since I won't be leaving the house unattended until the window gets fixed on Monday.
I find myself discomforted by the fact that this doesn't surprise me.
SE++ ftw.
Ah shit.
OK, SOMEONE poured a coke bottle of gasoline on the seat of his unguarded Jeep in front of his house, then lit a match and ran like hell. According to the grapevine, it caused thousands of dollars of damage.
Doc
Steel or lead? 3" or 3" 1/2? Tell me its a 3" 1/2 inch shell.
It'd be funny if that was actually the neighbors jeep. You know like the neighbors corvette in The Big Lebowski.
ah okay
no the car i'm looking to destroy at no risk to mself is a small sedan, i will need another way
3. Unplated lead.
You live in Washington right? If you get some steel shot and all the right Oregon hunting lisences, come down next September and we'll shoot some geese.
Just jimmy the door then. If their is no alarm, it's surprisingly easier then you would think.
