    a giant ballroom in the middle of an underground city

    for the ending of the original though, even if the actual ending was stupid as shit

    It basically falls into the same trap that the anime did, only on a larger scale; you basically use magic to replace plot.

    I think it's got less to do with them being "less bad"and more to do with status and how it confers meaning to them. I mean, "honkey" and "breeder" are just kinda insults. the N-word and "faggot" (is that OK to type) are more than that, they're terms of derision and humiliation from one more entitled group down to a less entitled group, and serve to kinda dehumanize and demoralize them.
