The "features" list for these games is always my favourite:
* Detailed scenery in 3D graphics
* Intriguing, ongoing story
* Weather effects, day / night shift
* Various tasks
* Long lasting fun factor
* Free choice of the level, once you have accomplished all tasks
* Extensive background information
* Intuitive control via keyboard and mouse Info
* Trees!
What could the story possibly be? Various tasks? Long lasting fun factor? Trees?? Okay, I added that last one in.
First thing I thought when I read that was whittling.

Trees, yes; Grass, apparently not so much. Sorry, guys, I'll wait for Woodcutting Simulator 2012.

You're better off just getting '11. I played the demo for '12 and you can tell they dumbed it down for consoles. They took away the isometric view option so now you're stuck with a zoomed in view that's too close to your vehicle to accurately target trees. And the new art style totally makes the terrain look worse.
And don't get me into the whole shenanigans with the custom painted Kenworth C500 Logging Truck pre-order bonus that only comes with "Extreme Logger's Edition".
Pre-Order. Cancelled.

Woah... for a moment I thought I accidentally clicked into an honest-to-god Bioware thread. But then I realized there wasn't any rampant sexual creepiness so I caught on.

It's bullshit arguments like this that annoy me.
It's not for "consoletards lol". No-one ever used that isometric camera, ESPECIALLY not when cutting trees, so complaining that it's been taken out is ridiculous.
The new art style is a matter of preference. I like it. Obviously you don't know good graphics when you see them.

Let me link you to my DeviantArt page, which features 1,835 different lovingly-drawn, anime-inspired fan art odes to how the shy vulnerability and plucky spirit of my John Deere combine harvester make me want to whisper sweet nothings to it until that magical moment arrives when I can slowly, lovingly take its hood off for the very first time.

In my defense, I don't have a DeviantArt page full of *ahem* John Deere combine harvester *ahem* pictures, and I'd much rather take lovingly-crafted fanfic and more realistic art portrayals over anime-inspired, and... I'm not really making this any better, am I?

I'm selling hand-printed "Tractor Is My Waifu!" t-shirts on my Etsy page, by the way.
No, it's worth it to have somebody else suffer through Kotaku. But you bring me news of Multiplayer Trapt Lemmings, so you are excused from looking at Kotaku for a week.
EDIT: Never mind, it's not multiplayer. The second archer was a hireable NPC. Your Kotaku reprieve is now five days.

Steam just made it easier to take and share screenshots of your favorite games.
Press your hotkey (F12 by default) while in any game that runs the Steam Overlay to take screenshots. Then publish them to your Steam Community profile as well as Facebook, Twitter, or Reddit to share them with your friends.
With 1GB of personal Steam Cloud storage, you can upload thousands of screenshots to show off your best moments for all your friends to see. Or you can make them private if you'd rather keep them to yourself.
Not exactly groundbreaking but still kind of neat.

Yeah, been making use of it for the last week.
Missed a good pic for Mass Effect due to pressing F2 rather than F12, but I did manage to document the half second of Shepard looking genuinely cheery, which justifies the whole thing.
I think I'll hold on Command and Conquer for now. I still really need to get into modern RTS games, but there is always the chance of them being cheaper on some other sale.
Vanilla RA3 if you enjoy co-op campaigns.
Vanilla RA3 if you prefer easy to learn multiplayer.
RA3 uprising if you prefer solo challenges.
C&C3 if you prefer more fully developed multiplayer.

CnC3 = pretty cool
CnC3 exp = adds some more cool, but obviously need the base game
RA3 = I like it, but some people don't like the peelback from RA2. It's also the grand cheesiest RTS in the history of ever, tongue firmly in cheek, and some people didn't like that tone either.
Uprising = don't bother
CnC4 = ask yourself if a constant internet connection is worth making you grind to unlock units (for all gametypes -- singleplayer, skirmish, multiplayer) and a gameplay that doesn't resemble CnC in any fashion at all
So I say flip a coin between CnC3 and RA3, with the knowledge that I'm not a super heug CnC fancreature or anything.

Awesome. You're a good finder.
That train station mission remains one of my favorite rts missions ever. That and mission 5 are really great.
Agreed. I almost feel filthy playing it. Lovely stuff.

Hey, I heard people were discussing Kane & Lynch 2 so I showed up as fast as I could.
Now I want to play more co-op, since that's a far more entertaining way to replay the single player.
Oh, and after checking Steam, my K&L2 played time is 27 hours. I'd say about 4 of those were single player.
Same, I had one of those gigantic books to help you through, I read it cover to cover and couldn't make a lick of sense out of that game.

An SP only Dungeon Defenders. Then again, Dungeon Defenders STILL doesn't have a release date, so go figure.

And they moved the "Games Downloads Tools Media" buttons to a drop down menu in the Search box.
I like it.
Shhhh! Do you want GameLoft to hear you?
(No honestly, I've never played CnC4 and I'm not about to start. CnC3 is pretty coo though.)
Also, is the C+C 3 expo worth rebuying C+C3+ the expo, due to not having the steam version of 3.
