Also I'm just loving the steakhouse except its 4 round mag, I stuff one in whenever I get a chance but when I run into groups it screws me over....Still better then the spas which wouldn't work with my connection..BLAM BLAM BLAM watch kill cam One shot fires.

I can post a video of me using a spas and if I'm not spamming 3 shot bursts at one person I'm done. The first shot doesn't even show up on their end, the second will hit but not kill them even through I'm a foot away and the third will end them.
With the stakeout for whatever reason its like a delayed fire, almost like I pull the trigger and then two tenths of a second later it fires which offsets my 2-3 bar connection and gets the kill. Thus far I've only seen three kill cams where it looks like I didn't shoot compared to pretty much every killcam when I have the spas.
If I had a four bar connection or had host as much as you then yeah the spas would be fan-fucking-tastic, but I don't and I'll get host when hell freezes over so till then I have to use whatever guns that work with it...I mean shit the spectre is amazing for me with rapidfire due to the volume of shots it puts out as I can just spam the trigger to hell and offset my crappy connection.

God why do ghost users constantly need to defend the perk? Its obviously a powerful perk since you use it right? All you are doing by claiming it is less powerful a perk than scavenger or whatever is adding fuel to the fire.
On another note call me a silly goose but it seems like I've barely played the new maps outside of berlin wall because someone joins the group who doesn't have the pack or joins the opposing team mid game on an original map and plays against us till they get a spot in the party. I'm not sure what can be done but for this weekend I'm going to just drop party rather than be forced to play the old maps. Maybe for this weekend since it's double xp could non map pack folks if they join a party and see they are the only name in red maybe be aware that others like myself are slightly annoyed? I dont think this will be something that annoys me forever but the map pack just came out. I know I'm a goose for letting it bother me just being honest here.
Weren't you (or somebody else) just saying a few days ago that you should be allowed to complain about the perk? Does it not work the other way around?
And if not playing the maps bothers you so much then you can play on your own, I completely disagree with the notion that we should kick people because they don't have the maps, we're better than that.

It's easily the ugliest example of a kill on either end of the zipline, but the timing was amusing. I'm not sure how the guy on the lower level didn't see and ventilate me on my way down...
This game also saw me start 1-8 and then hulk up to lead my team (ultimately to defeat, unfortunately) at 14-12. Olympia giveth, and Olympia taketh away. For reference, this was a game of TDM where 5/6 of the other team was rolling Ghost (you can see one below, out the window I DON'T shoot the Ghost in, right before I cap him and two run by as I'm on the zipline- the second gets killed, sloppily).

I did have ten kills on this one kid alone and I kept stalking him at the usual sniper perches he was trying to use so yeah I was trolling him, so much so that I tossed a claymore down in the doorway and ran off after killing him and twenty seconds later....blam. +100
Not arguing that I was being an asshole to him, but he was going to the same spots again and again. Then he sent me several voice messages shooting off the usual slurs and whatnot so I went ahead and sent a nice big trollface message back to him...I mean yeah I could have sent him a I haxxor 15 prestooge 4 1600M$ pointtts message but I'd rather just tell him that he doesn't pass the age rating for the game and should go play something that suits his age group and if he can't handle that then he needs to just deal with people who might take notice to you going to the same spot five flipping times in a row.
I want to like the steakhouse so much, but it's just so unreliable. Recently I've been testing to find just how bad it is (or how bad I am with it): it's worse than an ACOG kiparis, but better than a thermal enfield; seems just a little under an ex. mags 1911, so I think I'll put it between ACOG python and ex. mags makarov.

I'd say one of 3arcs dev team was molested by a pump action shotgun as a child.
because nothing else would explain what they've done to the poor thing.
Its really jarring especially after using the murder machines they were in Bad Company 2. Granted Bad Company and COD definition of "Long Range" are night and day. They really should double the range of all the shotguns as a minimum. No shotgun vanishes into the multiverse after 15 feet.
I just don't understand why people go into domination or demolition and not attempt to do the objective at all. If they were actually getting killstreaks and slowing the enemy team I'd be happy but they just camp some random corner of the map for the whole game getting no kills at all. its just infuriating.
I've finally gotten back into playing this after not bothering to plug my PS3 in after vacation, and I was wondering if the PSG still needs to be naked to be even somewhat useful.

I find it funny. I decided to give up point defense and go all offense with a shotgun. You'll find me flanking and breaking their assualt waves up. And yet I'll still have 20-30 kills and 5ish captures and 3-5 defends. Seriously. If you are going to camp pubbies. At least camp points A and B and make them pay dearly for every tick of the capture bar.
I don't care how many Rolling Thunders you call in. It doesn't make a difference if we only have point C and they can sit back and wait us out because you wont get out of that fucking shack in the back of the map hoping people walk by so you can call another helicopter. FYI they keep shooting them down cause they got 3 FUCKING SAMS and you are still the man in the box.
I flank with a shotgun as well just it feels kind of pointless when I end up with the most kills in the game and the most caps but we still lose. Maybe I've just had bad luck with my teams today.

It really takes a minimum of 3 people actively going for objectives to even stand a chance in ground war. If the entire team is camping and not playing the game mode. It doesn't matter how good you are. You'll never do it on your own.
That's why I've developed 'camping' spots that let me hold two flags at once with a little movement and active defence. The maps that suck in pubby Dom are the ones where this is impossible. Launch for instance. Every single time you don't have a team on that map whichever flag you cap/defend your team will be losing the other one.
Also, I am never playing Headquarters again. That sucked so much.
Don't know why they cut it. In this game it might have been good. Flak Jacket, Scout Pro, Tac Mask. Tomahawk, Concussions, pistol. Nobody can throw you off a point without getting around you. And with concussions, a quickswitch pistol and a tomahawk, that'd be very dangerous for their health.
Or!
Lightweight, Scout Pro, Marathon, Ballistic Knife Riot shield. Run around with the knife and shiv anyone close. If they're too far away, quick switch to the shield. Man, Scout Pro and shield were made for each other.
Probably because it didn't fit the theme very well.
I liked it a lot too, though.

So after a long night of playing with American hosts I played a few games today with a euro host. I'm sorry about all the bad things I said about you, high three bar. You're a good kid.

I noted a couple pages back that I was thinking about trying my Olympia class with Scout Pro because it'll make switching to my pistol and throwing flash grenades faster. But that means I'll have to go sniper-whore HC to unlock Scout Pro (I eat a bag of dicks sniping in core). And that's not particularly something I want to put myself through just to try out something that may turn out to be vastly inferior to SA.
Try using the L96A1 (or the PSG-1 now, I guess) with the ACOG. Yes, technically Scout is useless on that build, but the "zoom in, lose all your peripheral vision, hold your breath, then hope your target hasn't wandered off before you can fire" method of sniping is ineffectual in this game, so best to just bypass it as much as possible. Far better to just go with the upper torso one-hit kills auto-aim will provide, and headshots if you're counter-sniping. Drop a camera spike or motion sensor to cover your flank, always watch your radar out of the corner of your eye, and go to town.
It's really much easier than it seems, no HC necessary -- I unlocked Scout Pro in something like four or five games this way.

At this point it should just be accepted as a feature of the map (also free bullet penetration kills).
